The center tray lid trick I did not know, and also the key fob thing, I think that feature has been removed in the newer models and you can now eject a compact key from your fob if it goes flat. My model is newer then yours and the little slot next to the shifter is a lot smaller, almost like a keyhole. So far loving the Pajero. Little bit concerned with all the electronic features so opted for the base model. A so underrated vehicle and the offroad capabilities are awesome. I was surprised what I went through with ease while other rear diff locked utes struggled through.

A much cheaper alternative to the Land Cruiser yet is the same sort of car with the body on chassis setup plus a better gearbox in my opinion. Only thing is do they have a cover that pulls out to hide the contents in the back ? Ive not seen one yet with this. I had a Subaru Outback a while ago with it and I liked being able to keep things from view.

I didn't know about the console lid or the tailgate button so I will check it out tomorrow. I did a 4wd course and the instructor told me that if you put stop the vehicle on a hill in low range second it will hold itself there. Never tried it and not sure if I want to but there you go. I have a small tool on my keyring that is to unlock the transmission from what I have read. I use mine for camping and off road and have removed the plastic tie down attachments and replaced them with stainless eye bolts so that I can strap things down. I have also found some excellent storage options that work very well with this vehicle so if anyone is interested please reply.

I’ve had my PS gls for 6 months. Didn’t know about the console tray clipping or those seatbelt clips. Great video!! Thanks for the efforts! Some tips: 1. The key fob has a switch on the back of it, pull it and you can ‘eject’ the metal key- you can lock the car with that and leave the fob inside if you go surfing (someone can still smash the window and steal the car tho, so be aware!!). Also able to unlock the door by metal key if key fob battery goes flat. 2. There is a secret menu in the stereo (KZbin it), you can switch the car setting to ‘left hand drive’ so Bluetooth audio for phone calls comes out of the drivers speaker instead of the passenger one. 3. If you are talking on the phone and arrive at your destination and want to turn the engine off without interrupting your call, put the car in Park but hold the little shifter toggle button and then press engine off/on and it will cut the engine but the stereo system will stay on.
