Some fun facts: -In season 1 there was the music track called "Eren the C". Of course hinting towards him being the coordinate. -In season 2 when the smiling titan gets eaten, the name of the track playing is "Attack on D", hinting towards her name being Dina. -This episode Grisha says that he named his baby Zeke, hoping he would lead them to victory. Thats because the way "Zeke" is pronounced is like the german word "Sieg", which translated means "Victory".

They are the same bloodline so when king Fritz fled the great Titan war and came to the island he wanted to keep his bloodline safe so that’s about when he changed the last name to Reiss. That random dude sitting on the throne in season 3 part 1 was a nobody but they gave him the last name Fritz but he definitely wasn’t royal blood.

Hmm. It will need some clarification. They are chaotic it's the best way to be confused. But glad you clarified that Reiss are Fritz who changed their name to hide their identify. The most important plot point here is that Eldians are the Subjects of Ymir, and the only people in this world who can turn into titans. It should be reminded now that all the titans are Eldians. Basically, Marley used Eldians against the Eldians inside the walls, by turning them into titans on the Island. That's why there are no titans and no walls on the continent. And yes everyone inside the walls is Eldian. Eldians in Marley are in an internment zone because Marleyans hate Eldians for what they did to them in the past. And they use them as tools by using their power of turning into titans. Marleyans can't become titans themselves because they are not Eldians. They are normal humans. And this also why the entire world hate Eldians and the people inside the walls, because they are titans for them. Yes, the people that Eren and Scout fought for until now were people who can become titans, their own people.

Hey friends! Your head is going to explode because in this chapter they release a lot of information at once. And you still have to receive it XD I'm going to address some of the points that I've seen that you had doubts about. Although they are doubts that the more the plot advances, the more you will clarify them. When you see the series for the second time, you realize that they are giving all the information well, but of course, when you see it for the second time, you already know everything that is to come, then everything becomes much easier to identify and understand. Think that the Marleyans are humans who cannot become titans. The Eldians are humans who descend from the people of Ymir (the founding titan) and they can become pure titans if you inject them with cerebrospinal fluid. Then there are the 9 powers of intelligent titans (which are the 9 parts into which the founder Ymir was divided) That is to say that there are 9 Eldians who each have that power. At present we know the following: 1- Founding Titan (the one Freeda had) 2- Titan "X" which is the one that has "the owl" (which we just saw now, but I don't want to spoil the name) 3- Female Titan 4- Beast Titan 5- Armored Titan 6- Colossal Titan 7- Quadruped Titan (the one you saw accompanying Zeke) 8- Ymir's Titan (Historia's partner) 9. At the moment you are missing this last one to meet... Eren has 2 "intelligent titan powers", because he has the one he inherited from his father but remember that the father ate the one controlled by Freeda (the founding titan). Therefore Eren inherits the power of those 2 titans. On the other hand, Marley managed to defeat and have under his control 7 of the intelligent titans. That's why they needed 7 Eldian children to each inherit a power (because Marleyans are humans who can't control the power of the titans, they are normal humans, but the Eldians can become titans and inherit one of those 7 powers, by eating their host, as we've seen on other occasions). The other 2 titans that Marley does NOT control are: - The titan you're seeing that controls the Owl. That guy was infiltrated pretending to be a normal human, a Marleyan. - The founding titan, which is the one that King Fritz had. This king decided to escape to Paradise Island and take all the Eldians he could. But he couldn't take them all (some stayed on the continent, with the enemies (Marleyans). The king locked himself in those 3 walls with his kind, with the Eldians he could take. Before dying, the king passed the power of his founding titan to the next member of his family, inside the island were the relatives of Roid Reiss, who also had the royal lineage. But outside the island, there was also a person who came directly from the Fritz, that was Dina. And together with Grisha and the revolutionaries, they tried to create a plan to go to the island to recover the power of the founding titan. The plan was to use his son Zeke, so that he would become an heir of one of the 7 titans that Marley controlled, and use the child to infiltrate Paradise and recover the power of the founding titan. Personally...I feel this and the next episode are episodes to help them not to go off rails cos it's confusing...of course over time it'll all be clear but why let them wandrr in the dark first. 1. Anybody that can turn into a titan is an eldian or subject of ymir. 2. Normal humans will get injected and nothing will happen. 3. Hence marely and more accurately, the rest of the world is afraid of eldians and consider them an "evil race" 4. Which is why even young grisha a kid is treated like he's some rat and his sister like she isn't even human. 5. The eldian king has the founding titan (as rod reiss described, a titan that is basically God and can do anything but somehow chosen not to). 6. The king decided not to fight and went into an island with a few million people and formed walls of titans and clocked out. 7. The founding titan does have every memory from the begining of time.

i will simplify like this, A male from the reiss family marrying a female from the fritz family doesn't make the male reiss a royal. scientifically(biologically) only their children would have royal blood from their mother. just like grisha never had royal blood but zeke inherited that from dina fritz.

The audience will laugh and celebrate as they watch Gross being eaten until the Owl asks “Well? Is it really that interesting?”, and realize that they themselves are proving the point Gross had made earlier (the one he’d made as he’d looked straight at the viewers). Humans _are_ inherently twisted creatures, capable of deriving pleasure from the suffering and slaughtering of others and capable of callous curiosity in the face of it. The subtle implication of this character maybe breaking the ‘fourth wall’ as he stands on what could technically be considered the fourth wall of the island is artful writing 🤌🏻
