So good, I'm the one who serves the behind the scenes that no one pays attention to and with having a sister in the worship team as well as a Children's Pastor and a brother who's a Preacher at the local Church. This reminds that it doesn't matter what area you're in God highly values it

We LOVED this short film! I cried watching it. I am a homeschool mom of 4 kiddos (9 year old-18 years old). I replayed it for them to watch also. They were all impacted by this!! Thank You for sharing and producing this! :)

Thank you so much for this comment! My name is Joy, I'm an intern here at Messenger. My mom homeschooled most of us growing up so I understand where you're coming from! What you are doing in your kiddos lives means more than you can possibly know.

My goodness! What John Bevere said really hit me, because I'm quite insecure whether it is really significant for God's kingdom when I take care of the beggars God leads me to. The craziest thing is that this is the group of people, where my mum would always say: „Don't pay attention to them. Avoid every contact with them. All of them are evil and they just want your money.“ So I have to do it in secret as always, but that doesn't matter. What really SHOCKED to me was that 99% of all the people passing by didn't even look at them. It's under their worth to do so. But ever since God broke my heart for these people I can't ignore them anymore.

I am only now seeing this short film and it has impacted me so very much. I am in my 50's and I can remember a time when, way back when, someone would say in church that they felt God was calling them into ministry then the church would automatically want to send them to bible college and make them a pastor because that was the only PAID position in the church. Pretty much. I remember how in the past it was even fashionable to become a pastor and consequently we as a global body of believers wound up with folks who became pastors who weren't called to do that. Or how about the 20 year old fresh out of high school and goes to bible college because everyone else in the church is going but they have no clue why they are really even there? I wished everyone would see this video. Not that we mean any offense to our dear brothers and sisters but we need to become way more intimate with the lord and truly listen to what He says He wants us to do. What hit me THE most was imagining myself on THAT day and realizing I had totally missed the calling of God upon my life and then hearing how many souls I missed impacting for the kingdom. I sat watching this movie like it hit me right in my GUT!

Listen John Bevere! You yourself expose the whole plot by viewing the NT Gospel like an emotional theater act. Maybe just rightly so, for that’s probably the best way of describing your own “calling” as a kind of gospel acting preacher.

I loved the video i just didn’t like that the people don’t do the voice over themselves (when they are responding to “God”). But overall yes i was in tears too! Keep up the good work!!

I think you are doing so much good things, thank you for your insights. However, I think slight different about your message in this video. It looks like the point of the gospel is missed. It now looks like if we have to own it ourselves instead of getting the grace of god, works versus faith, law versus grace, fear versus love. What Paul said: we will only be saved by faith, not by our own works. Actual honest question to the makers: Do you really think that God will judge us like the way the person in the video does? We will struggle, we never will be able to always find his way. He knows that, and loves us anyway and that is also the reason why Jesus died for us. Well, that is what faith is right? Love to hear your thoughts!

I would just say that as believers, we will never be judged by God for our sins. However, we will be judged by how we live our lives with what God has given us. We all have grace and gifts upon our lives. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 says “So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” That’s not condemnation, that’s just sobering. It’s a sense of accountability that we have to steward what God has given to us. Again though, we shouldn’t never feel condemnation from this, just a sobering sense that what I do with my life really will make a difference in eternity. Bless you brother

@@RoseCityRemnant Thanks Dylan for your answer. I honestly struggle with that insight, because I often feel condemnation instead of sobering. I am so willing to use my gifts, and look for him. And I do look. Still I don’t know how to use my gifts. I feel coming short. How can I look to that you think? Love to hear from you. Bless you
