Pretty nice storytelling and cinematography! I do the basemap work for OnX (and other apps) and have been slowly updating the Harrison region. After your last video of this area, I spent a few hours and overhauled the basemap. The apps take up to six months to ingest new data so you won't be seeing the updates for a bit though. I also took a look at the possibility of getting to the turquoise-ish lake. The last harvest date closer to the lake was around 2000 and the roads do look to be in good condition (just overgrown and a few waterbars). The biggest challenge would be the washout at 49.5360, -121.6574, that is visible in the 2019 lidar data. Good luck!
@TheStoryTillNow9 ай бұрын
Any chance you could e-mail me the updated imagery of that slide? shaun at thestorytillnow.com Those coordinates are where the marked road on the map ends, which makes me think it's impassible. I had marked that on my route also. But I plan to find out.

@timofthomas9 ай бұрын
Love that unlike many of your US cousins who youtube you are much more gentle on the trails - less spinning up the wheels. Also, here in Europe in the high mountains we are seeing more rock movement and landslides as permanent ice melts and the rocks and soil it was holding together come down the mountain sides - I guess in these higher valleys you will be starting to see the same thing happening now so more and more trails will be wiped out by slides :(
