Haha so true... I'm kinda teaching my dad to be more minimalistic, or rather; to throw away stuff. He doesn't have a lot of weird things, but just has too many of these plastic bags, old-fashioned screws etc that are impossible to find, use and organize, so in the end it's a complete waste of space and source for frustration

Every time I hear the saying about 'It's better to give than to receive', I keep seeing/hearing the collection scene in Klondyke Annie. (In which Mae West's character turns the missionary place around by hiring 'professional' entertainment from the nearby bar, and they sing THAT song while known debt-collectors (all menacing, one who lacks an arm) gathers the Collect. Let's just say it gives those words a WHOLE new meaning when what exactly they might receive if they give is anything but pleasant. lol)

even though he promotes his seminars a bit too agressively, this is still the number 2 business books you need. (#1 is millionaire fastlane). i remember reading this book on the train on my way to the uni in 2016. but at 22 you just read, you dont really grasp and understand it even tho you think you do (especially if it's your first or second business book). the realization comes later when you gain more life experience. i recommend this book. the scene where some guys trash his cabrio sports car is still so absurd that i started to love rich people :D
@robertmelvin79085 жыл бұрын
Poor people usually focus on their 40-hr job and spend their money before they get paid. They whine about not being paid enough and they complain to their employer that they can't make ends meet, but as soon as they get more money, all of that money is spent before they get paid. A rich person knows how they spend their money [expenses], so as to save. Then that person shows their employer that they have ideas that can increase profit for the company. So the rich person gets a raise that goes into investments. And that's how you start playing the Game of Wealth.
@MaudKonyn3 жыл бұрын
Plus; a poor person complains about others being richer while they don't deserve it, instead of looking at the other and learning from them. Admittedly; I also do this, one reason being my moral compass preventing me from taking some of the steps. I'm changing in this attitude though.

Gr8 video, but I don't agree with the 3rd 1. I think that people although doubting themselves, want to be rich right, instead of working to rich. We want people to give us money and not invest money (which is giving). But again your video has valid points

It’s more blessed to give than to receive is Paul quoting Christ. Christ was bad at math? Don’t think so. You can only give out of your abundance.

4 won't work. I tried. I'll tell you why. 1, Business - If you start a business now, you have to market and do sales yourself when you begin or you need investment which is really hard to get or you need to take a loan thinking that most businesses fail which is do or die situation.Everyone doesn't have marketing and sales skills, may be your skill is in project management. Now let's imagine if you know marketing/sales, you still need a marketing budget and there's no guarantee that you'd get clients and anyone who gamble won't be rich. The point is you need experts in a business and with just you, it seldom work. 2, Commissions - Again it needs not only marketing and sales skills but also money. Let's imagine you do free marketing. You still can't guarantee an income which is basically gambling. Ask any Billionaire and he'd tell you to reduce risk. 3,Stock options? Seriously? First people need to create cash flow. Who became rich due to zero cash flow? 4, Profit sharing - This is probably the only thing that can work provided that you get people who have skills that can compliment yours. For example, if you have teaching skill, someone has marketing and sales skill, you can work together and share the profit.
