China record landing on South China island could be dated back to 6th century that is way earlier than vietnam or Philippine's claims. That could be found eaily on web info. Further China is different from other ethhic races create and managed one of the largest fleet at acent time travelling as far as Africa. This guy spent time, energy and money recovering these cultural treasures. Of course he can sell some to help recover his cost. I do not see how China has anything to do with the ownership. South China Sea is not Chinese territory despite its being name "China Sea", and not every thing made in China is owned by China.
