This is Enlightenment propaganda, the "dark ages" is a myth, it was just the early middle ages where we don't have a lot of sources on the time period so a lot is shrouded in mystery. There was an intermingling of church and state but this wasn't bad for the people, it only hurt the church which had the nobility using it as its chessboard sort of.

As has been documented many times in history, contact with remote peoples puts those people in danger of catching something they have zero immunity to whereas we are completely unharmed. Its just as reasonable to say there is an omnipotent deity watching us from wherever heaven is supposed to be as it is to say that humans came from monkeys. Nobody can say what is real and what is not, people who wish to say this is real or that is real are nothing but fools as they can never do so without doubt. All that science has discovered can be reinforced by Christians and their beliefs, humans came from monkeys, well it said that all creatures and man came from the dust of the earth thus we all came from the same place. The Big Bang, well in the beginning it says God commanded “Let there be light”, explaining that the big bang was the response to the command. The differences in Earths history from the recording of the Bible to the believed discovery of the age of the Earth, as one of my science professors says as he claims most believe philosophical science an embarrassment to the scientific community; well it claims Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden for a period we don’t know, so when they left millennia upon millennia may have passed. Nobody can claim what is real and those that do only show how foolish they are as they can never truly prove it.

It was my reading a passage in the bible where I believe it was Ezekiel encountered a being whose face shone brighter than a thousand suns whilst holding 7 stars in the palm of his or its hand which woke my interest in all things supernatural & paranormal. A friend of mine who is a Hebrew scholar has access to this vault. He gained access while in his early 40s. Through his work he discovered the proper pronunciation of the Hebrew name of YHVH. Concerning Cherubim and Seraphim and Angels. According to the first two, there are only two of each and they are as Ezekiel describes. Angels on the other hand are different - more human-like. Angels do not have wings. In the medieval world they were presented having wings because how else would the descend and ascend between heaven and earth? But in reality, the are without feathers.

I disagree. I had a visitation from archangel Michael and although he didn't have what I would describe as feather wings he had light/plasma looking wings and an illuminated body. He also would speak for a time on my portal spirit box and since spirits have on occasion mentioned his presence with trepidation and sometimes glee, but as a paranormal investigator and psychic medium who has done many demonic deliverances and been involved in exorcisms ... most of the spirits that pop up are not friendly. Most predenominational churches will refer the afflicted to psychiatric care first and ask that they receive treatment for that before the exorcism.

The "angels" in the thumbnail were depictions from a vision. They were not literal. The vision was full of symbolism. Many eyes means far seeing or great insight. Many wings usually indicates speed. Also, I beleive these were cherubim and/or seraphim, not angels. They are seperate hosts of Heaven.

The money scamming even happen here in Quebec. Priest were asking money for the church, poor family give them the most they were able too, even if this money was more important to them than the church, because after priest were having cadillac, and talking about it was consider ''wrong''. Its not like he needs to fund anything to make it happen, he could do such things with a snap of his fingers in fact, I believe god if he exists and was good would push such a family to save up that money and not waste it on the church, in fact if god believed a church needed money, and he was powerful... he could just... snap his fingers and poof money appears, if you are having difficulties with money, focus on yourself before focusing on the church, trust me god if he is good would not punish you for such a thing.

@@moonstar1014 I am only 15 and I am still learning about how God works but what I do know is that he loves everyone even the murders and when we give money in faith to God he gives it back ten fold. If God gave us money just because we wanted it or for our pleasure we would not be thankful and we would become greedy. We give to God because he loves us, gave us life, this earth and everything we have. God gives us what we need not what we want when we want it. God loves you and he wants you to know he cares about you.😊

The prophets who reported the visions of celestial beings were accessing higher dimensions (not to be confused with "parallel universes"). The Catholic Church does a medical review of the person with a highly qualified profesional before declaring a person demonised and requiring an exorcism. Also there's no reason sometime can't have both a mental condition and a demon, OR why a demon can't cause a psysiological mental problem.

I was raised from birth as a catholic. I saw some things as a child that made me wonder about WTF was really going on in the catholic church because nothing was as it seemed. If you can't fool a little kid like me at the time then your not good at tricking anybody into believing how holy you really are. As a very young adult I read many different books about how the vatican had invested heavily into the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade for hundreds of years. Needless to say, after confirming what I had read about the financing of slavery, I was completely done with the illusion of pious god fearing clergymen from the inception of Constantines great vision of seeing angels in the sky in a dream all the way up to priest being transfered to other parrishs due to all kinds of accusations of indecent behaviors commited by them, I had enough and completely stopped believing in anything that had to do with the organization. This left me without anything to believe in. It seems that everybody today is in total denial about anything that is good anymore. Many people believe in all kind of crazy things and people that they worship or follow. I hope we as a species makes it thru the year. Things are looking mighty dark for mankind now.
