I M so so sorry for you & others like yourself. I couldn't imagine the pain wrenching my heart daily like you have endured. I lost my baby sister (just turned 13 yrs old, couldn't wait for her 13th bday) - she was killed in car crash on her way to school, it was raining & she had to check on her let's real quick, & missed the school bus) It was the hardest thing to go thru in my life, plus watching my parents go thru it, which they never got over. She was the first child ever killed in our entire family, generations back, & the entire family of relatives never forget her or her dealth either. They all, everyone, no matter what ages came to her funeral & both schools of her classmates came as well, as they lined up & came in & up to the casket it ripped out hearts out at the people that loved her all showed up. Lump in throat & tears as I write about it - BUT SHE IS WORTH EVERY TEAR I'VE CRIED THRU THE YEARS. MY KIDS KNOW ALL ABOUT HER THOU THEY WERE BORN DECADES LATER. BUT YOUR LOSS - NOT KNOWING, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU - AS IT DOES LISTENING TO THIS POOR MAN, TELL HIS STORY. I was born and raised in the Catholic church, but I have left for my own reasons surrounding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. After seeing this, I am glad I left and will no longer look on the Catholic church, when it is lead but such evil, as anything good or to be proud of. I am filled with so much hurt for this family. I remember the story of Emmanuela Orlandi when we lived within the Vatican walls too. My father worked in the Vatican press office with the old press machines used in binding old books and documents. I remember even then there were cameras at the Senate building and all over the Piazza Del Popolo. I find it difficult that she could disappear within the walls and not be seen.

I watched the story of this girl a few years ago, and it still haunts me. What that poor innocent trusting young girl had to go through behind those Vatican walls, just hurts me. After watching the initial Netflix documentary I believed that Archbishop Paul Marcinkus, head of the Vatican Bank, was heavily involved and probably responsible for her actual murder, so when Emanuela's brother, at 19 years of age, revealed he was surprisingly offered a job working in the bank I felt it was more than a coincidence and that it was a way for the Cardinal to keep an eye on him. Marcinkus would also have considerable influence with the Pope for obvious reasons, namely where the Vatican money was going.

I’ve watched quite a few documentaries and real crime stories over the years and this one clearly tops them all. Every aspect of this film was masterfully done in the telling of this tragic tale… Having lost my brother in a work-related accident when I was 20 years old, I have always harbored a similar desire to bring the responsibile parties to justice. In my case, my father was told that the business owners were very well connected in the community and that his attempts to pursue them through the justice system would be pointless. To this day, I occasionally wonder whether the descendants of these people are aware that their parents had the blood of my brother on their hands… I definitely empathize deeply with this brother who bravely continues to fight for justice on behalf of his beloved sister. Bravo and hats off to ALL involved in producing this film.

This man,s heart bleeds for his sister. To know the one time he failed his sister & choose his girlfriend must eat away at him..The evil he is up against are only cowards. @@Trishkenzies Well, this is a story about long ago. Pope Paul 2nd died in 2005 and the Pope whispered to him in that greeting line that "she was in heaven" before he died. Remember? Also, as another user asks, which "true story"? This is a documentary which are generally truer than something you might see on Netflix which does host a story. I'd have to check his participation in that one; I think he may have though. It is similar to documentary style, but not quite. Poor guy wants as much information out to the public as possible to see what filters back in new information or tips, I'm sure.

@@vergilito1 I’d say that people see things according to how they personally relate to things themselves. And a rather pessimistic judgement at that. Guilt can be a tremendous motivator but in this case it Is clear that he is absolutely not to blame for her kidnapping and must have come to that conclusion early on. You cannot deny that he very much loved his sister. Love and loyalty is without a doubt a more powerful motivator than guilt. Observing this story with a bit of empathy (which is necessary if you want to see something in perspective) it is obvious that guilt was not his motivation more than a very small part of his tireless investigation. Feeling regret that he didn’t accompany his sister that day, yes, but not his sole motivation. There lies a very big difference. To say that he was motivated purely by guilt is a bleak accusation and judgmental statement to make.

He fell for the blackmail of his girlfriend "you always put your sister before me" It's vital in Italian families that men protect the females especially younger sister's Unfortunately his choice will always be with regret and guilt. That's why he's doing everything he can to uncover the truth. The young girl was obviously sheltered and gullible to trust the Avon man. But the only guilty parties are the people responsible for her disappearance and that of the other young girl who also went missing prior

@@wendychacon7340 , If you Google it, the latest news is implying that there is documentation that his sister became pregnant by a Vatican clergy and was taken to London before it was visible for a possible abortion. I think it makes the most sense since the Vatican was never forth coming with a realistic leed. The so called, taken for blackmail theme, to get a prisoner released, doesn't quite hold water. Why not kidnap another clergy person, in the Vatican or in South america. This girl was snagged for a reason. Unless it had to do with occult ritual stuff. Which makes me wonder why those two exhumed graves of princesses were empty. Who would want their bones? Occultists. Such a tragedy.
