You only use the tripods and I didn't see a screed. So you just use the spike roller and that was good enough? , what is the difference between the times you need a screed and the times you just use the spike roller?

If you’re meaning screed - straight edge compare with spiked roller. This are two different tools. Straight edge I am using for making flat, roller for removing babbles and spread slc evenly.
