You don’t want to get your hands dirty, still need to bring your bike in for a service! 😁

Thanks for the tips. Presta valves can also leak when the tiny threaded shaft that the internal valve nut screws onto (the one you loosen off when inflating the tyre) is bent. Fortunately, new valve cores are cheap as chips!

Yeah, also the curve of the rim can pull the valve to one side if the nut is over tightened

Absolute garbage these things.

What are tubeless valves? They are the same design as a standard inner tube. What issues have you had?

It just constantly leaks air - i cannot fix it and the bike is less than a month old. It's also the first time I've had tubeless and safe to say ill be ripping them off tomorrow and planting them into the bin. I could only imagine what I'd have to do if my tubeless went flat miles away from home. I'll be reverting to the "old school" method of tubed tyres tomorrow.

I personally would never go back. Tubeless has saved me so many punctures. Just take the bike back, the bike shop will be able to quickly diagnose the issue, it will be a simple fix, if the sealant is coming out of the valve, it’s probably just a lose valve core or the valve isn’t quite seated right.
