Welcome Trevor! You were an excellent addition to the team. I for one, am fully onboard with mixing tire brands. With all the incredible options out there right now, you are one mixed tire brand away from the perfect combo 😜

Great conversation.. I’ve switched from a 20mm rise (760) bar to a 35mm (780) and lowered the stack by 10mm. The difference this has made to my 5010 is incredible.. Much improved handing

If money wasn’t an option,,, I’d have multiple wheels with different tire setups and swap them out when riding in different areas. I’m really liking the Pirelli R specific Scorpion tires right now.

the dumbest creak I ever had was my cable housing at the grommet near my head tube for my internal routing. Chased it for a month, fix it with a dab of chain lube.

On my 2021 aluminum patrol. The seat post and saddle rails have ALWAYS the culprit of creaks.

Trevor was a great add to the podcast! Got a question for him (or maybe Liam?) Any more tips/explanation on advancing the pistons on your brakes to get the throw of the lever shorter/quicker bite? I am running the TRP DHR EVO's and love them, but I find the throw of the lever quite large before they bite. I've heard of some people doing this, but definitely scared as I dont want to pop the pistons out of the caliper.

They are deigned for 2.3mm rotors. Are you running those?

Pull the lever once with the wheel out. This should move the pistons, but not enough for them to pop out.

I like to use a small flathead screwdriver to push the pistons in on one side, and then press the lever to push the other pistons out a bit further than they already were. Do this a few times on each side so that you eventually have the pads hitting evenly on the rotor so your lever feels good with a shorter throw. It basically slightly advances the pistons, your rotor might rub a bit with this however. This is with the brake pads and wheel/rotor on the bike so that they can't go too far

My bike came with dissectors. I thought they sucked because the front would always slide around when railing corners. I removed a spacer and boom💥 it made it feel like I had a new grippy tire up front. Sometimes all ya need to get your front tire to hook up is a little more pressure on it

Weighting the front of your bike helps so much when it comes to corning traction! Glad you were able to find a solution :)

I know it's not cow related but if you see sheep on their back, go into the field and flip them upright because they will die from suffocation.
