Hi Matt! Thank you for the insight on ‘sundowning’ I never knew that was a thing! My grandma is turning 99 this month and has episodes with her dementia where she gets into a state of panic/anxiousness when it starts to get dark outside. She will ask my mom & I to close the curtains, the windows, doors, etc. because she thinks someone is watching & will find us. Thankfully she is still able to fully function physically, the mind is just somewhere else. She has her good & bad days but she’s doing pretty damn good for being almost 99. Sending love from Miami! ❤ Hi Mariah, Zane, & Heath! 👋🏼

Car dealership business manager here- in my experience, there’s not much wiggle room in new vehicles. Used however, there’s typically about a $2000 markup in which they’d be willing to wiggle on $500-1000 of it. With that said, it’s like any other product right, Kramoda Coffee perhaps- I’m sure it doesn’t cost you $15.99 to make a 12oz bag of coffee, but you have to mark it up to be successful. Same goes for dealerships. The dealership must make money to pay their employees. Everyone’s gotta put food on their table, baby! It’s also a good motivator for the dealership to make a deal on an older aged vehicle, meaning they’ve had that specific vehicle on the lot over 60-80 days. Love the pod, guys! I look forward to it every week.

Patient transport at a hospital here! I can tell you first hand that the fact about how we take people to the morgue is correct. We will go into the room, and put the body onto a medal stretcher with a cover over it. Looks like a casket and people are unable to see the body. But will go right past people and family like nothing has happened. It’s horrible.

I was a hotel maid years ago. We changed sheets and towels and the shower curtain for every new guest. We only washed blankets about once every two weeks, and bedspreads/comforters were washed about once a month, unless there was something obviously wrong like spilled food. If the guest was staying more than one night, sometimes the guest would just ask us to make the bed and not change the sheets.

I use to work at red lobster and they actually use them for the steamed lobster meal! If your server is nice, they let you pick it out, but typically the server puts it on a black tray and walks it back to the kitchen. And when your a host you can take them out to show kids for them to pet it. But you just have to put it back a certain away so they “burp” otherwise they can choke on the water and die if you just dump it back into the water! It’s pretty sad they just sit there until they get cooked or die in the water :( but yeah it’s cray cray
