I can say that the money band does get loose. I placed 3 max cards from it with no pulling. I have used secrid for more than 5 years now. I hope they made that new one easy to replace once it does not go back to its original stretch.

Yes, it's super easy to replace, and they have just improved the attachment part, will be out soon

I'm in USA, and really like these wallets. There's a local upscale jewelry store in my town that sells these. I'm going to purchase one today. I am getting the vegan band wallet. I am thinking about the blue band but I like the Grey that you present here! Can you swap the bands out?

Hey, yeah you can swap bands, but I don;t think the bands are available separately, also the wallet is not entirely vegan, there is a part inside the mechanism that is made of wool felt.

I know the twin wallet (2 card protectors) may seem a bit excessive, but If you combine it with a victorinox card, which fits just right, it becomes the ultimate EDC. I can't switch to anything else anymore, since this combo has come in handy so many times!

Ive just gotten my first secrid in the mail tonight and with only 3 or 4 FLUSH cards in the card protector.. the mechanism often jams and stays flipped open... is this a thing with brand new secrid wallets? do they need to break in?

They should not have to be broken in or jam no, I don't know what a "flush card" is tho?

@@AggaCityGang when I say flush I mean flat as in the numbers are printed onto the card making the card totally flat (modern cards) as opposed to an Embossed card where all the info in raised up. So basically 4 of the thinnest cards possible and it’s jamming. Hoping I got a faulty device and I get get a new one delivered on Sunday. We will see. I love the wallets footprint / form factor. It’s too perfect. I NEED this wallet to properly work and function haha, I HAVE to EDC this thing. It’s too perfect looking and feeling.

Hey Arthur, I'm afraid it still hasn't released yet, but I know they are still working on it, and it will be. I can even spoil there will be more colour options, so if I can get my hands on them I will hopefully do a second and updated review on them, stay tubed!

@@AggaCityGang Sure, but I think most techwear folks are also into accessories I think. I havent seen much on wallets or on watches. I follow Antwon but he also mostly does apparel. Still, I think this wallet is perfect for tech wear people and I wouldn't go back to a standard one. It ticks a lot of boxes: minimalist, tech/modern, functional.

De release is helaas uitgesteld wegens een productiefout in band. Ik denk dat de slim wallet ook een hele fijne portemonee is hoor, maar ja je kan deze er altijd nog bij kopen he? Als je het als fashion accessoire ziet kan je het wel aan jezelf "verkopen" 😉

There is no place for coin. It's a card wallet. I personally never have cash on me, so I don't mind. I actually don't understand why anyone still uses cash in 2022 tbh.
