It feels overwhelming. I have section 8 no one really helps me only vague emails back. My management company boss is verbally abuse. I feel porting is just a myth. I thought Section was a chance to better myself, the only one getting a head is the landlord.

My Pha is a nightmare as well. Never answer my questions or concerns. Just like you said. Very vague. They just leave me hanging..clueless..feeling trapped. I cant understand how this is okay!?! The treatment we get.

I've only had the voucher for a couple of weeks. I've have spent many hours daily trying to find a place that will take the voucher. Been touring apartments and meeting landlords. I already feel overwhelmed and depressed about the whole situation

I have been awarded a Project Based Voucher for a unit, but every time I inquire with the agency/property about how much my rent would be, they cannot answer "until I sign the lease." Is that normal? I don't want to sign a lease until I understand what the rent would be.

I was told there's a 7 year wait for section 8. Being homeless and battling stage 3 breast cancer doesn't matter apparently

I strongly advise you to not give up the first time you run into a brick wall.The system is tough, hard to navigate and deceptive. If it was impossible My office would have a mob empty handed angry clients.
