@@MMZERO9 That's the thing. It's canon in the comics that the clones in her company weren't affected by the chips. They CHOSE to follow orders. They hated it, but they still pulled the triggers.

In my day, inhibitor chips weren’t even a thing. It was something added later to justify why the close connection the Jedi made with their troops could easily be severed. Really a stupid addition imo. I like to believe the clones knew what they’d have to do from the start and were just waiting for orders, but didn’t realize how hard following orders was going to have to be when the day came. Hence Battlefront 2’s 501st campaign narration.

@@havocfilms3428 With the exception of the very rare treasonous clone hating jedi I doubt any of the clones wanted to turn on them. I love how much of Aayla Secura’s character was fleshed out in the Dark Horse Clone Wars comics (beyond looking sexy), and it shows how you guys really dived into her dimensions as a character. Aayla isn’t just a Jedi either who follows whatever the Council wishes; she’s got her own emotional arc as well - partly because of her species. Twi’leks are very empathetic and emotional species (especially when in tune with the Force); their lekku store these emotions and makes their memories that much more powerful (even in a feminine sense). Furthermore, Aayla knows what it feels like to be subjugated to slavery (something she and Anakin more likely bonded over). She knows all too well that Twi’lek women were viewed as either pampered princesses or sexual objects. She endured slavery from childhood too until Quinlan Vos sensed the Force within her and took it upon himself to train her as a Jedi. He would be like a father figure to her, as both know more than anything how difficult it is being a Jedi and being able to express emotions. It’s a slippery slope both of them traveled when the dark side was involved. But that’s what makes Aayla Secura a true Jedi - spiritual, balanced, and dedicated.
@ReiKennex2 жыл бұрын
Beautiful summary! Yes, all of that was exactly what we love about Aayla, and that's the character I wanted to portray and and introduce more people to (many know about Aayla but don't really know anything about her, her past, her personality, her bond with Bly etc). It's awesome that you caught those moments from the comics.

In terms of prequel era Jedi this fan film alone gave a lot of character and insight into Aayla Secura as a character. Counting her brief clone wars episodes. Aayla is shown to be empathic and in-tuned with the force that most Jedi aren’t always. She knew attachments to others was not a bad thing telling Ahsoka in the clone wars how her own master was like a father to her but knew eventually she had to let him go. Aayla’s only flaw was sadly a result of the war in weighing the lives of many over the lives of the few. A Jedi shouldn’t instantly decide who lives and who dies they need to consider all lives equally worth saving.

I love this because she's one of my favorite Jedi. I find it incredibly hard to believe that Jedi Masters of the council weren't able to sense malice at their local levels like Yoda did on Kashyyyk.

Aayla Secura was my favorite Jedi in the prequel movie and one I have my first Star Wars crush on. She had quite an interesting yet dark backstory as well as a relationship that was close to developing with Kit Fisto; truly beautiful Jedi that made it all the more heartbreaking during Order66. ( at least when I look into her troops thoughts they knew shooting her down with a quick death, instead of being stranded in a harsh jungle planet or being tortured into an Inquisitor.) For giving our Blue Badass Beauty is second chance, you've earned my subscription!

@ReiKennex : Considering her master Quinlan Voss is the best jedi master besides Yoda ,then Of course her backs will be awesome 👌
