I got the same cabinet, and I switched to the clip on the barrel rest instead of the bungee and also have the door organizer it adds quite a bit more storage.

Good review. You are the first I've seen to address the issue of those base plates sliding around. I like your sticky tape solution for that.

Great video, I haven't seen those mag holders before. I'd probably consider getting the door organizer for my 22lr pistol.

Kyle Thomas thanks for the comment. I really like the cabinet works great and so do the mag holders they just released them when I got my cabinet. The door organizer looks good I just have not found a need for it at this time. Thanks for stopping by tell your friends always looking for new subscribers.

Have you had any issues with the electronic lock? I have the same cabinet and my lock acted up for a few days. It was only about 3 months old and the lock quit working. Opened it with the key, changed the battery and it still did not work. After 2 days I tried the keypad again and it worked. Now I’m a little worried that the lock may not function 100% of the time. Thanks

Can you give a link or brand/model information on your light. I like the setup. Just ordered mine. I got the 40 for stackability in a low ceiling environment. Also got ammo cage.

Here is a link to the light I have it works great. Sounds like you will have a get system setup when complete. I would love to know more about the light. I've been searching and searching for something similar and i'm coming up empty. Is it rechargeable, or plug in? Is the magnetic door switch built in, or did you add it to a separate light? You mentioned a video about the light, but i couldn't find it in your list.
@TomJonesGearGuy4 жыл бұрын
The light is a Lockdown Cordless 75 LED Vault Light. It is magnetic and battery-powered. I modified it so that I could plug and unplug the magnetic switch to make battery changes easier. The magnetic switches are just window or door security system contacts. Not sure if you made it to the end of the video I went over the light mod there. Thanks for the comment and for stopping by.

I wish I could justify the price for one. For $800 I can instead get a 40-gun safe that weighs over 500 lbs.
@TomJonesGearGuy3 жыл бұрын
I can understand that. For what I needed and wanted it hit all the points. I did a lot of research before buying it and just dealing with a safe that weights that much was a problem to start with. I have seen many video of people getting into those big safe in less then 15 min basically just prying open the doors. I was looking more for something give me a safe secure place to store my guns. Many of those big safes I don’t think and it really comes down to the person and the types of guns stored have good storage systems and if you have optics it gets worse. To me the way the guns are held in the safe are some of if not the best system. Room for all not jammed in red dots, sights have room. Mine is bolted to the wall and the box is very well built, could some rip it open sure but it will take some time and work and most people breaking in to a home are not going to take that much time. It is a choice and I respect your choices and reasons. Thanks very much for stopping by and leaving a comment it is greatly appreciated

I just ordered mine this past Friday, so very excited. Did you bolt to back wall or floor. Not bolted down, how stable is it with the door wide open?
@TomJonesGearGuy6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for stopping by. I have mine bolted to the wall, I would of liked to bolt it to the floor but it is in a bedroom I use for storage and it has carpet. If it was in the closet I would have bolted to the floor. So to get back to your question, yes you do need to bolt it to something to keep it stable it could fall over. You are going to like it very well made. I think as you could tell it does need some type of light. Thanks for the comment
