@@thatgearguyThe current situation isn't complicated at all. 1) Give huge prison sentences for such crimes 2) Huge prison time for being in a position of a gang leader 3) Do old classic "phishing/traps" 4) remove artificial complexities 5) Huge sentences for those who involve kids 6) Huge sentences for exploiting naive people in the "cookoeing" 7) Identified criminal gangs as a whole, receive solid sentences just for being an organised crime group 8) Many other things can be improved to make things work, e.g like if certain sufficient of quality or quantity of anonymous information received - this could trigger investigation etc.

Practice shows that if person do not stop after even first prison time - re-offending after a first term in prison - he'll continue until he'll get in total about 12-20 years in prison Practice shows that roughly 12 years in prison gives motivation for an individual to stay away from crimes or he'll re-offend again very likely

Love these stories. How about one with Walter Mitty door stories? Long story, I'm a hgv driver, I deliver all over Scotland, and I meet guys who used to do the doors. Most of them have some seriously unbelievable stories, they should write books on it. One of the best was, this guy had been with his wife for 17 years, and he went home one night and walked in the door, his wife looked at him and got off the couch, ran upto him and screamed "OMG what happened, what happened?" And he says "What are you talking about?" She replies "We've married 17 years, in all that time, this is the first time you've come home NOT covered in someone else's blood!" 😂😂😂 he kept a straight face.... I just nodded. Great videos mate! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Being a similar age and done a lot of security work, not club’s but super market, there is a lot of crossover here. Not dealing in the market’s but the organisation of gangs helping them selves to help fuel the market. In the past if they had even the Including they are being watched, they would just abandon the trolley, not now though, they will just walk out with it, bold as brass. I’ve stepped back from this now as I have small children and the police won’t turn up unless it’s like 1k or over. Clown world.

I used to live in Galway, Ireland in the early '00's - not an especially violent place, but a big party town, with all the pubs and clubs concentrated around the main square and the sea~front emptying out at the same time, so lots of fights. Also, hard drugs were starting to make inroads in Ireland's smaller cities and towns about this time. Anyway, a mate of mine, now passed, was the victim of a rapidly developing 'cuckoo's nest' situation, with him being exploited by the some of the city's 'Travellers' (like Gypsies, but of purely Irish ethnicity) that were involved in crime - not that this guy (now passed) was particularly a saint, but there was 'no real bad in him' as we say here. Also, he was still trying to cope with a messy break~up, and was getting strung~out on heroin. His younger, more street~wise brother could see what was happening and was trying to forestall the impending crisis, but they were constantly sabotaged by their mum who had come up from their hometown and got a kick out of living in a party house. Anyway the crisis came when he came out of his bedroom about 5am one morning and asked 'the company' if they wouldn't mind holding down the noise. I'm sure some of you are way ahead of me, here - "Who the f%&k are _you,_ telling us to keep the noise down?!" someone answered... "Ah, you _know_ this is _my 'gaff'?_ (home)" he replied. A row ensued, with him ultimately ordering everyone out, mother and all. Surprisingly they _did_ leave, if not with good grace. (I suspect he may have threatened to call 'The Shades', Irish Traveller slang for The Gardaí, the Irish Police.) Well, such 'disrespect' - and coming from a perceived potential 'rat', to boot - this was never going to end well! Sure enough, he and his new girlfriend awoke an hour or so later to find themselves in a conflagration, with the Fire Brigade bursting in. Someone had come back to the flat and poured petrol through the letterbox, followed by a lit match. My friend and his girlfriend were lucky to get out with their lives, and only minor injuries, but they did need hospitalisation for smoke inhalation. It's chilling to think that they might never even have awoke, let alone got out, had somebody not raised the alarm. It's even more chilling to think some scumbag would have burned two people alive in their beds, over a trivial perceived slight!

I'm from the north east and over the course of a decade I've seen how worse knife attacks have gotten. Its not just knife attacks, but other brutal attacks. There's a street and its known for being rough and whenever someone from out of town asks me wheres to go for a good time i always tell them to avoid that one area. Its filled with coked up young feral lads. Ive seen fights break out over the most stupid of reasons and one party will pull out a blade. Or someone will of been jumped by a group of 10 to 12 lads simply because they got a thrill out of it. And there was this one particular group of lads that were going around and smashing people over the face with bottels and glasses. What's worse is that the door staff in that area are corrupt. Most of them are drinking on the job and selling coke to customers and are in with the gangs.

Just watched your 2023 video on "Weapons Banned From UK Ownership" and had a question that I hope you can answer. The question is, what about flint knives? A knife blade chipped out of flint can be over 3" in length, if the maker is skilled enough -- I've seen obsidian knives that were much longer. But even a short flint knife might be a problem. I happen to own a flint knife with an antler haft. I don't usually carry it around -- actually I don't carry it at all -- but if I did, would the police arrest me for it? The blade is about 2" long, and of course it's a fixed blade. I've been thinking about learning how to chip flint to make cutting tools -- just for the fun of it. I live near Brighton, and there is plenty of flint available just lying around on the coast.

I haven't been to a bar or club since 2010 and I always thought allowing drunk people to have glass bottles and glasses was like giving every nutter a weapon as they come in. Why do establishments still allow this? Wouldn't it make sense to just provide drinks in plastic bottles like they do at football matches? Maybe this is the case now as I have not been out to a club in over 10 years.
@Adrianpublandlord2 ай бұрын
Hey I am a publican by trade. I will try to answer your question- Many customers complain when given plastics also the cost of pet (plastic bottles) is much higher. I think the gov would have to blanket ban glasses for it to happen nationally. I have seen many people get glassed and it’s a horrible injury. I have also prevented many people from getting glassed as it’s the first thing I remove when people start arguing or being aggressive etc.

You may well be correct. The war on drugs will never be "won" via the methods currently employed. We need to address why people wish to use them to excess. The rat studies on this are eye opening. Rats choose cocaine laced water until they are given an interesting environment to live in. When they have social activities, an abundance of food, a comfortable bed, they ignore the cocaine. People are not that different in my experience.

She was even raped by these vermin (she didn't tell me at the time) But she honestly believed they respected and cared for her which I told her was complete bollocks. She ended up with having her door out through by the Old Bill multiple times. The only thing that stopped her being kicked out by the Housing Association was her disability and mental health issues. It didn't last though as eventually they had enough with her and the trouble surrounding her and kicked her out! Cukoo'ing is a disgusting, scummy practise.
