Security System Test 10: ADT Safewatch Pro 3000

My 6160v finally decided to work. For those that don’t know it broke a few months ago. The siren is not an Ademco 747. It’s an ATW DT-24 which sounds similar to to the 747 but it’s lower pitched and louder.

If I could I would put in a Ademco Vista 20p, a Ademco 6160VADT By the front door, one in my room, and one in the master bedroom, and have a wave 2. Sadly I don’t have the time, the parts/money to get them, and I don’t want to drill holes in the walls. Plus I already have an ADT TSSC system that barely works lol

What's the difference between Night stay and normal stay?

My guess is that opening any zone will immediately set off the alarm, even zones normally designated as entry/exit. The only exception would be motion detectors. Edit: turns out that arm night also enabled and motion detectors, but only if you enable the motion detector to night stay.

In the panel programming you set up motion detectors that you want to be active when armed in night stay. Say all the bedrooms are on the second floor of a house and you have motion detectors on the first floor and a keypad on the second floor. You can set it up to where when its armed to night stay it will turn on all of the first floor motions but leave the second floor ones off. It gives you an entry delay. Instant is regular stay mode but mo entry delays.
