My first motorcycle helmet in decades was a Strada. It is a great all around helmet, relatively quiet, great ventilation, adapted well to my Cardo Pack Talk. I love the drop down shade and pair it with sunglasses underneath for the bright California sun. The new version is definitely worth considering.

hows the wind noise?
@spectrese7en7219 ай бұрын
@@ReptiliansAnonymous I don’t even notice it so far other than one day recently where it was insanely windy already it was noticeable. After I turn on my Cardo I don’t even remember wind is a thing anymore. I’ve ridden with it for about 3 days now and it’s so much more comfortable all around than my previous helmets. I also get compliments on the art work on the helmet regularly when I stop to get gas or driving to work. I commute up to 2 hours one way for work daily so I’ve had a lot of testing time.

@@spectrese7en721 Appreciate the response! I currently have an LS2 Valiant 2 blackout which is a modular helmet. It was the only option when I went and bought my new zx6r last year and ive just kind of stuck with it. But its so dang heavy and even though I always wear ear plugs I feel like the noise could be better with a non modular helmet.

Just got the medium sedici strada 3 yesterday. Shell size is still pretty big. Cheek padding is tight but the helmet don't wobble, it'll get better with wear. I wear headphones and the ear space is awesome, nothing rubs on ears when wearing. I'm getting alot more bugs inside the helmet when cruising than with any other helmet I have. Wind noise is very minimal. I'd take it back if I could, not 100% happy with it, but gonna use it anyway

With the loss of the Gringo S as an affordable "round" helmet, are we getting anything to replace such a helmet? The new Gringo S 22.06 and SV 22.06 being "intermediate oval" there are even LESS options for those with round heads. Please encourage manufactures to bring more round options to the states.

I went in to a store and tried this helmet on. I had the sedici strada 2 and decided it was time for an upgrade. Unfortunately the cheek pads were horrendous on the 3. I really wanted to like it but the cheek pads aggressively pushed my cheeks into my mouth because of the angle of the pads. Bought an arai instead.

This helmet still has a lot of wind noise. I think it is more than the Strada 2. Also to me it seems the front is closer to the face my intercom is actually touching my lips when located in the same spot as in the strada 2. This helmet is not my favorite. Wish I still had my helmet I bought back in 2002 it was way more quiet. Seems to me the more advanced the world becomes the louder the helmet is. Should be the other way around.

I googled and got this, so I'm not purchasing. @@pistonburner6448If you don't already know, Held is a fantastic glove manufacturer from Germany. If you're average height, I can vouch for Rev'It (Netherlands last I checked/to my knowledge), but it will be short in jacket length if you're taller. Klim is great for tall people, forget where they're based, have heard they're an American company but haven't checked myself. HJC if I'm not mistaken is South Korea, but up until the C91, RPHA 12, i91 (basically, their new/just launched stuff) they've been good. If I had kids/partner/fuck it, even a dog, I'd go and buy their 1N as that helmet model hasn't been screwed over by Sena (unlike their just-released stuff) Alpinestars is based from Italy, and all their stuff runs small on Americans, honestly Alpinestars is over-hyped to shit, but if you're a Size 16 they are quite literally the only option.

Sad to see the #1 reason I never recommended the Strada 2 for newer riders still hasn't been included. Sedici really needs to add quick release pads in case of an accident, you never know how well trained first responders are so the more idiot proof they can make taking a helmet off the better!

As somone who has been in an accident, the EMR paid no attention to the quick release. My question is, why Revzilla doesn't make a HI VIZ version of this helmet? They know hi Viz improves visibility and therefore safety, but it seems like someone's precious fashion taste is more important? It's hypocritical to talk about safety and not give this option.
