Now that he has claimed bankruptcy, we all lose our money.

Going miss you Guy and Survive! as your knives will be missed. I have one and had a 4.7 GSO Magnacut that we had ordered a few years back. As time went by I saw all that was going on with Survive! and the problems that you did Not cause. So a few months back wrote to you saying that we want to cancel the order and donate the money to you and Survive!❤. My heart goes out to you Guy also for the lose of your father, as we all can relate to the pain of losing loved ones😢. On a high note though your knives were going for double retail on Ebay lol and I was one of them that bought😁 . It was the GSO 5.1 Magnacut the one everyone wanted! I could not be any happier😍! You said in one of your last vids that you were slowly dying. Remember what Biggie Smalls said, Your nobody tell somebody kill$ you! They will all want you back and If it is in Jesus plans, you will be back stronger than ever! Peace and Love! Take care Guy.

So bottom line. I waited years for my 1st order of a six inch to arrive. Is there any hope of getting my last order of the 4.5 bushcraft or should I write it off and move on with something else?

I sincerely apologize for letting you and others down. At this point the company has zero means of carrying out any operations or fulfilling any orders. At the end of the day, one too many things happened, in too short of a timeframe, and I could not absorb it all. There were no other good lending or investment options to see this through. If I could've gotten this done, I would have. I ruined my life trying. Again, I apologize.

Guy I’m not sure what happened or what to believe I’m sure the truth is somewhere in the middle I’ve followed your journey from the very beginning and I still rock some first run survive t shirts from way back regardless of what happened (I am one of many with unfulfilled pre orders) you made a fantastic knife and I appreciate your contribution to the knife world your designs are some of my favorite I’ve ever come across and your passion is undeniable I will cherish the few I still have and pass them down to my kids someday whether you were in the wrong or not it’s really sad to see people kicking you while you’re down even if every rumor is true you’re are the one taking the fallout and no one is feeling it the way you are I hope people will take the time and have the compassion to understand the impact this will have on your life. I truly wish you the best I hope to see you back in the knife world in some capacity in the future but if that isn’t in the cards then I hope that you find a new passion that brings you happiness dont give up and in the meantime stay off the internet all this shit is bad for your health put it behind you learn the lessons move on and find peace thank you for trying I appreciate you don’t let this destroy you It’s a sad and bitter end to journey but tomorrow is a new day hang in there.

Guy is trying to cover his ass for ripping off a whole bunch of customers. He got me for a necker 2
@greencanopybushcraftsurviv67132 ай бұрын
As much as I hate to admit it, Guy is correct about not being able to ship any blanks or parts to customers, even if they do indeed belong to us. The court has to decide that now, and in most cases, debt reimbursement/refunds will go in order of who is owed the most. So unfortunately the little guys like us lose out. That is a very bitter pill to swallow but one which we must do. I am down 500 dollars not including shipping charges that I paid for. Its a huge sh@t sandwich and everyone has to take a bite.😢 That said, Guy, stop posting dude. You are making matters worse not better. The customers like myself that have lost money on orders not received are annoyed and frustrated enough. All you are doing is reminding us of the huge mistake we made. I ordered knives two years ago even though I had read so many bad comments about survive knives and yourself, why did I do this? Well, because I wanted to believe in you and your company, that things could change. In reality, my bad. So please, stop making us feel worse by reinforcing your betrayal of the trust we gave you. We know we have lost out. Period. Stop treating us like children, stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop pointing fingers and/or blame and finally, delete your channel along with the videos. Man up and move on. P.S. If you are indeed as honorable as you make out, then I wish you good luck for the future.

Why bother posting this video? Those of us who trusted you to complete your orders - yet didn't receive the promised knives for our money - no longer care about you jousting at the Magnacut windmill. You're done. Our money was wasted. Move along.

This is an older video, I'm posting it as a matter of public record. It was originally not made public, because I had signed a visitation form that essentially acted like an NDA. Since the only reason Peters' was trying to enforce that clause is because their employee openly admits to wrong doing. That never sat well with me, so, since l'm going bankrupt anyway, it's out there now. In the end, they said they didn't do anything wrong, so l don't see the problem with posting it on my way out.

@Surviveknives2 ай бұрын
Oh, I'm well aware. The death threats and folks telling me to kill myself were a pretty strong indicator. This decarburizing situation at Peters' drastically altered the trajectory of SURVIVE! as a company, so this video is being posted as a matter of public record before I go. They were holding a visitation NDA over my head as leverage to not post this video, where their employee openly admits to not handling our parts correctly and later on admits to perhaps not doing enough in house testing before processing customers' parts. That's negligent behavior and was not the service we received in our first batch of parts. They admitted to making a process change without verifying it or informing customers of the change while I was visiting there. In the end, to avoid liability, they said they did nothing wrong and would not even provide their insurance information to us. This video clearly proves otherwise, so I don't care if people hate me, I am posting this video, so folks have access to the information directly from Peters'

I am kind of confused. Everyone that has ordered something from SURVIVE! and it has not been delivered.......are those people out of money or are going to be refunded?
@Surviveknives2 ай бұрын
If the company had a refund slush fund, we would have been in a position to get the orders done and delivered. One too many things happened in too short of a time period and the company couldn't recover from it. Even after liquidating the shop assets, the company is still completely insolvent. I'm so sorry, I really wanted to be able to bring this home for everyone.

Just curious. Is there any way of getting my blank and having it finished by someone else?
@Surviveknives2 ай бұрын
At this point, I was advised by my bankruptcy attorney to leave everything alone. The company is massively in negative money, so there is no way to carry on any kind of operations, even shipping out parts for people. Between that situation and now having signed the assurance of voluntary compliance with the PA Attorney General's office, my hands are pretty well tied at this point. If the situation changes I'll let you guys know.

I shared this video privately with a few customers who wanted more details of the Magnacut/Decarburizing situation. Shawn was one of those people, apparently he downloaded it and felt compelled to share it.

Jeesh y'all, beating up Guy, yeah what he did was wrong and he's been busted for it and is now in the process of paying the piper (like we are by putting in deposits)...but I'm betting y'all have lost ALOT more money to your bank fees, credit card interest/fees, car insurance, home insurance, flood insurance, etc than a few knives. Fine be pissed, get over it and start looking at the bigger things that need to be fixed vs one tiny business that ultimately failed. 70% of small businesses fail within 5 years, he extended that to about 15 years? Some shady practices for sure, but for those of us who got at least some product...they're amazing and I for one do want to see the quality and designs revived somewhere else under a real sustainable business model...and I would expect to pay a bit more...

Dude, everyone hates getting boned for 100's a of bucks. It looks like you gave it a real-deal go and many factors lead to failure. Seems like investors would be willing to get things going again. You know what made Survive! not successful, fix those mistakes and lay out a working business model. Shit, go bang on Buck Knives door and say "Hey, I can bring you out of the dump and make the best knives around." Seriously, your knives sell out instantly. Instantly, like zero stock. How investors not throw money at this? Your knives are in the TOP 5 category. I mean F!, i want to buy a couple.
@Surviveknives2 ай бұрын
Thanks Man. If you or anyone reading this knows of a company out there who would like to produce the designs or to take this on in any capacity, let me know. Of course everybody wants the blanks to tinker with, but when rubber meets the road, nobody has been standing in line to help make something happen. I would love to be a part of a high quality team and to help bring this home under someone else.

Fixed overhead costs, everything needed to keep a business moving. Things like rent, payroll, insurance, equipment loans, loans to repurchase lost materials or to absorb time lost to production issues. One too many things happened, in too short of a time period, and the company couldn't absorb it all while still being viable. We were very transparent here on KZbin regarding the struggles we were facing as a company.

According to the Census Bureau, the median household income in the US was $74,580 in 2022. This is approximately $35.86/hr based upon a 40-hour work week. Based on some of the things Guy has said in the past, I think an estimate of $300 per order is reasonable. This equates to a bit over 8 hours of work for someone who is at the median income level. Let's be honest with ourselves. Some of you are acting like you lost your life savings when Survive folded. If you avoided making the mortgage payment so you could buy one of these knives, you had no business buying one of these knives. Survive's failure didn't cause your problem, it only exposed your problem. And to now put this all on Guy is just you not taking responsibility for your own foolish money management skills. And for some of you, you throw away more money on your Only Fans account in one month than you ever spent on any order you made with Survive. And for the rest of you the loss is a bad meal at a really nice restaurant - it is disappointing but not life altering. Y'all need to get a grip.

I don’t understand? Last week, Heavyset Tactical made a video to inform the world that Survive Knives is just “Done” and that folks like you & me who had made pre-orders a year & greater ago, would not receive the knives we paid for😢? Furthermore, Guy was currently selling off all his equipment, and eventually filling for bankruptcy?? I believe this is an old video. Guy??
