She cannot just answer any single question. She has to go on and on. No public citizen could ever act like this, no lawyer could make comment outside of saying objection even her lawyer gets to speak out of turn. Geez any normal person would be in contempt within the first question she avoided answering by arguing, screaming, or talking in circles. Yes or no is all she is supposed to say- not argue constantly. Not back talk or argue her side while being questioned by the opposing counsel. You have an opportunity to give your side when your own counsel asks you questions. The fact that the judge lets her act out like this is unacceptable.

This is very sad to watch the entitlement, unprofessional, hypocrisy attitude of this DA; wonder what she would say if anyone else said that in one of her trials-she is named on the court documents and has a defense attorney and has an obligation to answer to the public for her actions as DA and for every dime spent from Taxpayer money -She took oath to uphold the US Constitution in the capacity of state government official, as an officer to the court, and as a public servant to the people of the state of Georgia when she swore to uphold her oath. As American citizens, It is our First Amendment right under the US Constitution to redress our government; and to see how our money-Taxpayer Dollars are being spent. Also, The Georgia Constitution & under GA law, gives citizens right to request the records for how our tax money is spent. An elected, Taxpayer paid officer of the court acting like an entitled, disrespectful to the court & a defiant child is unacceptable-that’s a hypocrite, immature behavior and unprofessional. We the People, Taxpayers of Georgia and across the USA are the ones who are entitled to have our elected officials uphold their oath to office under the US Constitution, answer our questions about how our tax dollars are spent and with expectation of being answered in a professional manner.

Currently, only the Georgia proceedings are due to be televised. New York law severely restricts what parts of a criminal trial can be filmed, and the federal judicial system's Rule 53 blocks the broadcasting of federal criminal trials.

No regular citizen would have been allowed to ramble on and on like Ms Willis was allowed to do here. If they did, they would have been held in contempt of court if they'd continued. Fani shouldn't get special treatment just because she's the DA. But then again, it's no surprise really, seeing as Judge Scott McAfee used to work for her.

Fani Willis's shaky voice ....when she has the papers in her hands it is a lie.....no no no no it is a lie. Great job Ashleigh Merchant ! ❤ Thank you for your professional performance. 👍 Bravo bravo 👏👏👏
@user-Balthazar6696 ай бұрын
I agree with you that Mrs. Merchant did a great job turning rumours into a case so to impede the investigation into her client’s case. To be clear that’s all it consisted of was rumours and half truths, mostly from two people who had been close to Mr. Wade and Ms. Willis but each had been either fired or asked to resign from their positions. No axe to grind… lol. The defence team took everything they could find regardless of evidence or fact checking and ripped through the private lives of the DA and the Special Prosecutor. It’s very traumatic to watch your closely guarded private life be dug up and laid bare for your colleagues, employers, employees, court workers (gossip central), media (lie tellers), and the whole world to mock and ridicule for entertainment…. Mr. Bradley had been a married man, in name only, living apart in different cities from his wife for many years. Ms. Willis and he were highly respected members of the community and had successfully hid their romantic relationship for years. The people supplying information to Mrs. Merchant was; 1) the former friend/ former DA media agent for Fulton County, asked to resign or be fired because of her work performance. 2) the former law partner/ divorce attorney of Mr. Bradley, both of which occurred before his performance as whistle blower. Neither of these two could back up with evidence nor testimony under oath to the claims Mrs. Merchant made in court documents filed with the court which got the attention of media who broadcast the lies without fact checking assuming that court filings would be truthful & blew up the lives of 2 public servants…
