I LOVE these types of progress videos.💚 Your little desk LED grow light set up looks so good! It’s nice to know they will survive like that. I have almost the same plants as your desktop pot except mine’s outdoors with sedum adolphi, blue chalksticks & purple delight as I think those colours look really nice together. Thank you for the update. Really enjoyed it. I grow the majority of my succulents outdoors & I still also find the watering to be tricky at times. Since I began 6 years ago I’ve noticed that most sedums, echeverias & the string types tend to like more water than usual. Being in zone 11b ( Perth ) I find that the echeverias survive better in glazed ceramic pots. I also discovered one of my Aeoniums does not close up during summer in its glazed ceramic pot as compared to the same plant in the ground.

It's so interesting to notice the differences between varieties. That definitely makes a big difference in how I care for mine.

I think your succulents awe doing great considering you had an outbreak of powdery mildew. I bought the little pot and light and can’t wait to pot it up! Thank you for all the great info.

Hey this is totally off topic but would you consider making a video about how you deal with combining and separating plants on the Succulent Tracker app? I combined two pots so moved one to the memory garden. Later I separated them and moved the one out of memory garden but that makes all the watering history and whatnot wrong. Is there a better way? Also more detail on how you use tags would be awesome especially regarding arrangements but any other tips would be appreciated 😊 Those Haworthia/opsis in the arrangement are looking super happy!

I've been getting my plants from Mountain Crest and Leaf and Clay. I've had very good luck with them with an exception of one Desert Surprise Kalanchoe that got powdery mildew. I gave up on it and set it outside to see if it will come out of it.

Hello, loving your videos, do you have a video on how you care for your plants during the winter or do you care for them the same all year round? Xx
@Succulentsandsunshine18 күн бұрын
My plants are all inside under grow lights with no natural light, so my care routine is pretty similar all year round. However, typically in winter you'll water less frequently and your succulents will grow more slowly. This article should help too: succulentsandsunshine.com/yt-wintercare

I’ve had the same issue with white mold. This winter/spring brought on an outbreak of the mold. I lost so many plants to it. 😢

Are you using regular household LEDs or grow lights?

These are regular LEDs, not "grow lights". I've been using them for a little over 4 years and I love them! They've worked really well. amazon.com/shop/succulentsandsunshine.com/
