I'm concerned. Molly should watch the outstanding documentary "City of Gold" (available on Amazon) about the L.A. Times food critic -- the first food critic to ever win the Pulitzer Prize for criticism -- the late Jonathan Gold. The movie is about the best filmed tour of L.A. ever, and shows the danger of eating for a living. Food critics risk their lives to make our lives more delicious, but Molly (like DFB's AJ & DisUnplugged's Pete) regularly eat at the unhealthiest place on Earth! Molly looks great, but her arteries might be paying the price for all the Butterbear & BBQ.

All the other Disney vloggers were there at Sam's opening and it looks like you were purposely shooting around them. I love to see all you guys in each other's videos. Saw the top of Mr Morrows hat, he was with Super enthused. DFB was there, Jojo,s world was there, PC Dev was there. I would have loved to be there and seen all you guys in one place at same time. We plan on going back to Sam's in the fall when things settle down a bit. Love your vids.

I still couldn't imagine spending $600-$1200/night for a resort room... especially considering we are typically only in the room to sleep... We recently booked an 8 night stay w/ 7 day park ticket at Caribbean Beach for the same price as a 4 night stay at POLY. Our Sept 2020 stay at POP Century was excellent as well.. recently renovated rooms there as well!

I had to stop. Th Polynesian used to be one of my favorite resorts about 10 years ago. I don't like the look of it now. I think they have ruined it. And even the rooms, not just the lobby. The fountain was beautiful ... why on Earth remove it? And the rooms had carved teak beautiful dressers. It was warm and comfortable and looked authentically Polynesian. Now it looks like a moderate resort with the same exact beds and flooring in every resort. There's nothing magical about it. I think the cartooning of the resort has ruined the intention of the original imagineers. You don't feel like you have escaped to a tropical luau. I'm glad that I spent many of vacation in its heyday. I actually feel like crying. The last time there we stayed in the concierge-level in the unit right near the water and we watched the fireworks from Magic Kingdom from our balcony. It was close to where John Lennon signed the paperwork disbanding The Beatles.

The pulled pork nachos are fantastic! My daughter and I had them and the meatballs (also amazing!) on our last trip. Pro tip - even if I’m not staying at the Poly, my favorite way to leave Magic Kingdom at close is to take the water taxi from MK to the Poly and walk to the TTC.

I honestly feel like all Disney Hotel rooms look exactly the same with very moderate level decor to distinguish the different themes. Of all the hotels Pop is still my fav. it's cheap, inside is nice and cozy, easy access to just about any park with skyliner but 30min bus ride to magic kingdom and the gift store/cafeteria is fun also has an arcade and pool area. Also can just walk to art of animation and look around. My next visit I'm going to stay in Swan and Dolphin or some non Disney hotel and get that real luxury feel!

I can't believe how things have changed at the poly !!! I've been there 41 times and love it !!! Fyi.....rates were $68.00 per night .....water view ....in the Fiji.

We stayed there in August 2015 and payed $305 (including tax) per night. I thought that was a lot. Six years later, double the price, and no plans to stay there anytime soon.

@@amyalemon8713 it was amazing!!! Our original reservation was scrapped when hurricane Ida hit home and closed our schools down for 4+ weeks. We ended up in Disney for the second half of our 16 days evacuated from home in September, so we canceled the full week family trip and rescheduled a quicker 3 night, 4 day trip with just hubby and I. I would go back without the kids over and over again if we could (it was next to impossible to work out sitters for our time gone… 4 sitters over 4 days). We had such an amazing time and got so much done! We will be back in December with the kids (not at the Poly sadly, but still on property), so they were ok with us leaving them this one time. Lol

I have enjoyed all your videos and watching eat those fabulous food, but I just found out I have borderline Kidney desease. My daughter is taking me to Disney world, and I don't know what to eat when I get there. I suppose booze it off my diet. Do you know if their is any plain simple food, like egg white omlets? alkaline water, lemons. I havn't told my daughter cause I don't wish to disappoint her. Any suggestions is appreciated. when WDW first opened the only two Hotels were Polynesian and Contemporary .. The Poly had a buffet in the papa Bay Veranda restaurant with all you can eat for 5.00 dollars including all types of fish wrapped and steamed in paper .. It was our favorite place to eat and sit in the evening and view the fireworks, So beautiful

My parents honeymooned at the Polynesian Resort back in the late '80s b/c they didn't have the money for a trip to Polynesia at the time. Nowadays it's probably more affordable to go and visit Polynesian islands than it is to stay at the resort 😂.

Boycott them. The renovations are grotesque and the staff are now so bad i wouldnt stay if my company or someone else paid. It's now Anti social to an extreme and depressing . you never see people talking falling in love or partying

Ok Molly, my wife is asking what you use as a base foundation on your makeup because you are in 95 degree temps all the time and always looks great! We are going down in a few weeks and doesn’t want to melt! 😂

She has mentioned Tartes shape tape concealer on the blog and keeps powder on her for touch up. Honestly, I would forgo all makeup or go minimal when going in the summer and wear sunscreen.
