Started leatherwork as a hobby from a Christmas gift and loving it. Just ordered your book. Made a flat pair of leather sandals last year and now making a pair of flat ballet pumps. Having trouble getting a last in my size so made a resin plaster mould of my feet. So far so good. Looking forward to reading your book as I work my way through your channel. Don’t why it took me so long to find out about you but huge thanks for all the videos. Those shoes were amazing would love to make my partner a pair. Keep up the excellent work.

Hi Harry, just ordered my copy in the USA. My favorite shoes/boots for hiking and general everyday wear are bespoke ones made with a duct tape mold. These have been available from makers through the craft and renaissance fairs for a long time. My pair are "zero shoes", i.e., a very low heel. I have grown to like this design a lot. I would like to make my own shoes one day, and maybe with the help of your book this will actually happen. Have a great holiday season!

I was going to get my wife to get it for me as a Christmas present. I think it was Friday or Saturday the price was £11! So I got it! Looking forward to the book as I have a different book on cowboy boot making with the worst vintage black and white terribly printed pictures. I think it will help fill the gaps with the cowboy boot making as some of the steps seem pretty similar. Be lovely to make my own shoes as well. Add it to the never-ending list of projects! Cheers mate

Hi Robert, yes I saw it yesterday evening but interesting it might have been reduced since Friday or Saturday...that's good, I gather Amazon does that when a few are going out the door as they have economies of scale. I think the construction processes will be very similar. I have avidly watched Kirby Allison and Texas Traditions with Lee Miller on KZbin. I cover the critical measurement for getting your foot in a boot in the pattern making section of the book. Thanks Best regards Harry
