Patrick, this is the most luxurious and technically advanced travel trailer I have ever seen. I have always felt that for the money that most RV's cost, the quality could be better and should last forever. This unit definitely is worth the money. You should be able to live in it as much as live outside it and this unit allows you to do both. I love that porch, the amount of space, the technology and the solar awning is incredible and innovative. I am very impressed.

For those of you not familiar with LivingVehicle... If you want or need an office space, they have a queen size murphy bed option for the bedroom that lifts up against the wall that has a desk built into yhe under side of the bed and the desk moves with the bed so you don't have to remove everything off of it to pull the bed down at night. Super cool!

Over 57Kw 24v of power is insane! Converted to the 12v Amp hours, that basically all other companies use, that would be 2,400 Amp hours! Other companies have a standard of only a few hundred amp hours, generally 200-600 Amp hours...

This or a 5th wheel? This seems like a drag and place trailer, like a destination trailer. There are some really nice 5th wheels, like Grand Designs Solitude or Brinkley Model Z, that cost much less and have more room. (I would pick the Brinkley, btw.) True off-road trailers don’t weigh four tons. See Brüder 8. Living Vehicle looks high quality, so the resale is probably the biggest plus. That said, have you seen what a used Brüder goes for?

WOW Patrick. So much fun to see every possible bell and whistle! It has an incredible amount of power, just staggering. There are people that may criticize builds on this end of the price spectrum, but I think they may be missing an opportunity to look for innovations that could be built for less without some of the automation. Specifically, I’m thinking of the two tier solar array. You could pull out the top tier manually and have more power as well as a cooling awning over a window, or maybe just to create room for a roof deck instead of layering the entire van roof with panels. So videos on builds like this can be idea incubators in addition to seeing what money can buy.

$95,000 US! Unbelievable: from the underbelly A/C- heated protection from the elements for the entire system to the 3400 (!) solar array, the fold down deck, elevator bed, roomy bathroom, etc. This is the evolution of tiny spaces. Can you do it cheaper? Of course. However, there is a lot here for that price. Incredible builders. Worth the flight! :)

The solar isn’t for cloudy days, the battery bank is. It is sufficient to power for several cloudy days in a row

Is Santa Barbara going to answer the phone at 3 in the morning when one of a hundred buttons don’t work. My airstream was in the shop often enough. Who is going to service this except Santa Barbara- when it was custom built. At $250,000???

Living Vehicle has a service network for their customers and great support. I don’t believe any RV manufacturing company has in house 24/7 support. Most use a 3rd party like Coachnet

At $495,000 it's essentially a fully off-grid 1.5-bedroom luxury tiny home - with 34Kw of power-on-demand, and/or 4x4gallons of propane, which is great in (the unlikely) case the power fails (eg - in winter). That's actually pretty cheap at the price!

There are all different types of RVs on the market to suit different purposes and owner expectations. Although this one is not for you, many will find value in a luxury build like this.
