This is perfect for graffiti mops. This is exactly what mop paint is. Experimenting with the amount of alcohol will change the amount of drippiness. This will save you a bunch of money on brand name paint like Molotow. Add a mixing ball to the bottle. Obviously you'll want a larger bottle than these. 100 to 200 mils are the most common amounts Edit: Definitely let it sit and shake it often. It will take at least 24 to 48 hours and several good shakes to break the paint down. You don't want chunky paint, it will clog your nib

not an expert but from what I'm understanding there is latex in acrylic paint and this doesn't mix with alcohol causing the speckles. I might be wrong, you might research.

I thought one of the objects of alcohol ink is to place the color or colors and drip alcohol on them, not just in the bottle. That’s what makes the little dots and patterns. You can mix acrylic paint with Warner to just drip it.

Not always true it’s ink and alcohol for sure the only reason you had alcohol is to get it to thin and spread out more

To anyone who's here for the same reason I was - no, unfortunately this does not work with staining resin prints :/ It's great for other applications though, certainly the cheaper option

I made my own with liquid acrylic paints and some colors turned out bright, but metallic paints seem to need more paint or they separate and leave little particles. It’s nice with gold, but with color metallics, I don’t care for it. Nice “how to” video.

It was super easy and the supplies were like $15 or less! Then if we need another color I would feel like I’m wasting it if I pour it out to start over!

awesome you guys, this is definitely something i'm going to try. i'm always looking for cool colors to try with epoxy and alcohol inks work well with that. thanks for sharing

I tried doing this with white acrylic paint last night and it came out very chunky 😔 do the brands of paint matter I was using a very cheap acrylic paint maybe I need a better quality one 🤔 I've tried everything to make white alcohol ink and I cannot make it work I need help

It’s actually better to to use printer in refills for this! The acrylic will not blend totally as its water based vs alcohol based! See this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXfdoqqqd5Jroas

I have to say it’s the paint that why you got those little pieces of paint, Because I tried mixing with a glue to stain jars you know mason jars then bake same thing happened I even used a resin with acrylic topcoat and still happened then tried acrylic enamel still no go, So I know it’s the paint I am going to try the old markers and alcohol. I believe that’s the way to go.

I have an idea! How about before you try to give another tutorial why don’t you figure out what your actually doing- what really works first - instead of wasting our time watching your “trial and error “ nonsense. Your just not that interesting or comical or anything to idly sit and watch you try ideas.
