Seventh Star is a great record! Glen Hughes has an amazing voice, so it is awesome to hear him be the primary vocalist on a record. The ST Jungle Rot album cover is amazing. Their most recent record has a really cool cover as well. I dig those Revel In Flesh and Sentient Horror records too. Killer entry Liam!

Very nice contest entry and I'll have to check out Mark's page. Revel In Flesh kick ass and the artwork is awesome. I recently picked up Gorefest - Rise To Ruin and is is excellent, more in line with "False". I agree Seventh Star is quite good and nobody ever talks about it. Cheers Liam and take care.

Iommi and Hughes is great, I grabbed their last one from the mid 2000s when it came out and I was instantly a fan. Was only years later I realised there were older albums with them working together. Cheers for watching mate and hope you're well 🤘

No edits! FTW!! 😂 Great video, sir. That MSW art is a terrific choice for the art segment. Sabbath: Though it’s ripe with controversy, I’ve always looked at the eras of Sabbath as follows. Ozzy (heavy blues), Dio (heavy metal), remaining (heavy rock). There are riffs that bend that theory but the overall band efforts seem to fit that pattern.

That MSW is powerful stuff mate, that art tells you exactly what you're gonna get. Couldn't agree more on the sabbath breakdown. If you compare 'Buried Alive' From the Dehumanizer album with say 'Under the Sun' from Vol 4 you can clearly tell the difference. Cheers for watching dude

Ah, 'Soul Survivor', I believe I still have that on CD somewhere. It's indeed hard rock / heavy metal with death growls, which works surprisingly well but definitely caused some raised eyebrows (and negative backlash) at the time. Ed Warby, their drummer, has his own melodic death/doom band these days, The 11th Hour. You should check it out.
