I hope everyone's a fan of the second part of the series! Let me know if audio balancing is better or if music could still stand to be louder, its hard for me to know since i already know the words i said in all these clips lmao
@eddventure6214 Жыл бұрын
quieter*, music could be quieter LOL, the problem before was it was too loud
@arxxxi Жыл бұрын
music volume is perfect to me, not too loud to where it distracts me but not too quiet to where its not really noticeable

The music volume is perfect to me, loud enough to be heard, but quiet enough to not drown you out at all, and your voice is definitely the most prominent once

As someone who is trying to learn everyone in some way, these videos are so useful for learning the general frame of mind when playing a given character and what their win conditions are, just goals to aim for!

As someone who's still relatively new to guilty gear (around 20 hours) it's fucking great to get this. You are helping me learn my match ups (nago main) really well so far. Great shit man! Also a fan of your vids in general. Commenting for the KZbin algorithm grind!

Hell yeah another Edd upload! Love that you're getting this done! I am also laughing that you had to 'squeeze' that 3rd bullet point for Ram's weakness.

What’s guts I’m confused? I’ve played for a while and I still don’t quite get it
@procop314 Жыл бұрын
simply put: the lower your health, the less damage you take. the more guts you have, the higher the damage reduction. for example, under 10% HP, a character with 0 guts takes 56% of the damage they would take at full health, and a character with 5 guts only takes 41%

Great video, nothing bad to say. I just want to say about Strive itself, how the hell does Potemkin have the same difficulty rating as Chipp? I know these difficulty ratings fighting games and competitive games more broadly give for their characters are unreliable, but this is just ridiculous.
@eddventure6214 Жыл бұрын
I think from arcsys’s perspective they’re talking about skill floor, not skill ceiling with these ratings. If characters have additional resources or are weak at button mashing they tend to be lower on the ease of use rating, whereas a character like Ky has tools very similar to Ryu which a lot of people are already familiar with and are easy to grasp at a surface level, so boom 5 stars

Love these! Question though, do you think theres a reason to play zato other than fun when HC exists? Big conversions, plus on block moves using ressources (bullets instead of eddie) but he can also zone and has better normals. Hes kind of like a pseudo puppet character on crack, no?

I mean, even if the particulars are exactly the same, bullet zoning is quite a different feeling than having a negative edge puppet. And that feeling can make or break your choice of character. Even if one can technically be more effective than the other, if you don't find the better one fun chances are you'll win more with the theoretical less effective one anyway.
