The fact these Ukrainian forces have an understanding how long until retaliation shows they’ve done this many, many times. Reminds me of how Stuka dive bombers in ww2 used sirens during their attacks as a psychological weapon but allied soldiers who survived these attacks got a sense how much time they had before the bomb hits by the sound of the siren. Some soldiers were able to survive WALKING to cover due to how familiar they were with the sound.

The overwhelming amоunt of approving and cheering соmments by ordinary Russians in response to videos about the atrocities committed against civilians and prisoners of war in Ukraine were equally as shocking to Ukrainians as the war itself. We somehow became accustomed to the war, but the realization of who we have been living alongside all this time without even knowing it is still horrifying. The west has done the worst than Russia in several countries. So I don't understand why ukraine did not speak the same way they are asking other countries to speak when they are attacked. Look at Afghanistan & and Libya, for example. And again, why were african brothers discriminated against when escaping the war? Let's go with the facts and judge equally. I wish ukraine, the west and Russia could embrace dialog and stop the war. Innocent soul are lost everyday. We are shouting and supporting the war because we are not in the real fight.
