I don't draw or sketch everyday things, usually I try to create concepts that don't exist in real life. But I will definitely start now. Thank you for the inspiration!

Traditionally, paintings are physical objects put together and prepared by hand. And the sculptural, or textural, qualities of the impasto are just part of what I admire in art. When AI creates something doesn't it all come from a computer screen and maybe printed on paper or canvas? Can it replicate the brush strokes and impasto, say like a Van Gogh? I don't know, just asking. Does the AI make decisions on whether or not to use staples or tacks when it stretches its canvas?

It is not there yet, but it will probably try. That said, it won’t have the expression and emotion behind each brushstroke. If it gets to a point when AI is sentient, than it will be another discussion 🤣🤣

@@sketch-habit Yeah, I really don't understand why someone would want to create such a devastating machine. Perhaps because they're a self absorbed misanthropic creep. Someone that wants to wipe out the livelyhoods of countless people and harm society. In the 90's I painted billboards and watched as computer printed vinyls replaced hand painted signs and I'm sure people say that's technological progress. But I for one prefer something human made, with all it's imperfections. I guess that's enough out of me, I think I was getting wound up. Cheers!
