Travel and See: thanks indeed for showing the beautiful LNG of the Gas Company. It seems to me the Bonny Island is a big place and has different components. It is a shame we have lost our ancient language. It’s my hope that we will review or relocate our language! jtsdrd, USA

NLNG residential area in Bonny Island is actually nice. It looks like Shell residential area inside Port Harcourt. However, the rest of Bonny Island needs a makeover as it doesn't look so nice outside the NLNG RA and IA. Hopefully, more development (good quality ones), comes to Bonny Island after it must have been connected by road to the rest of Rivers State and Nigeria at large

It’s a shame only foreigners enjoy Bonny Island. Our people live in poverty and unsecured polluted environment. The King, LG chairman, and chief has failed us. Bonny is Ibani se and Ibani is the widely spoken language in the entire LGA. In the Bonny town pidgin, Ndoki, Igbo, andoni, Efik are widely spoken along with Ibani.

@@OG-dp1kxNo you don't!!! You are being dishonest!! It is only a criteria you ask for when you see supposedly developing countries not conforming to the bigoted narrative of poverty and strife you have been fed previously!! Nobody goes to any country and starts to check out where the poor live! Bonny Island is an oil hub, there are no poor parts on the particular island! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

Because you don’t speak or hear Ibani doesn’t mean others can’t …. People who speak igbo often have igbo mothers or grand mothers… take note.

This is not Bonny town for the town owners or the masses, this a a gated estate for Oil/NLNG staff in Bonny town, because they employ whites too, and they have so much oil/gas dollars, that is why this estate is well planned. If you go outside this estate you will cry for the common man. Do not be deceived!
