We have hundreds of boarded up military bases across America (BRAC) that can be repurposed the get the homeless off the street. The VA can open up branches on these facilities to tend to their physical and mental health. We need to stop wasting money on the defense industry and repurpose that money into Americans. If we can't fix them and put them back into society, we can at least take care of them. Get them off the streets.

Okay, two minutes into the video and I already have three questions. If the prisoners have been out of the prison since 2014, why is it being presented as if it being empty is part of the Taliban takeover? Why does the "prisoner's food" shown look like it is at most a few weeks old? And the biggest question: if there are supposed to be hundreds of American citizens still trapped in Afghanistan, how do all these American reporters keep going back and forth in and out of the country to make these reports?

I once heard someone say that Americans love and/or condone War because their wars are never fought in their own land. Not once did I hear the interviers in studio discuss how the US treated the prisoners in dank crowded spaces with little to eat and how that that might've caused prisoners to have mental health issues and I really need clarity on the use of a man-sized net in the 'clinic'. I'm not condoning the actions of that caused them to be put in prison but living in artificial light, in a crowded space for years, no adequate food and being showered with water at random is not a good look for the "great" US. All the people in the studio cared about was that the Taliban has got so much architecture and resources left behind by the exit of the army and not the millions that died in on both sides when an international powerhouse decided to wage an unjustified war ."Go USA" !!
