Please go to GNCAP website and read the full crash test report of Figo Aspire which is rated at 3 stars. It has an unstable structure and can't hold further loading. That means new Figo B526 chassis is weaker than Fords MK I ie 2010-2012 Figo chassis

I own a Ford Figo 2019(petrol). I agree to all the points made in this video. Ford Figo is an amazing car but it is highly underrated. People in India should consider buying this car, atleast take a test drive and you'll find how good this car is. When I was planning to buy this car, everyone said that Ford cars are not good. But I can say for sure this car is far far better than it's rivals. What I like the most about this car? Its handling, comfort and how much fun is to drive this car!

The issue is not because Ford cars are bad, the Changan Ford regime gives more priority to locally built Fords. So global Fords share is very less means too much loss. Whatever he said is not right. Best VFM car oh.. yes.. but its not like it is best. 1. The new B156 Figo got only GNCAP 3 stars. And its structure is rated unstable unlike 2010-2013 MK I Figos that had a stable structure. So before blindly counting number of airbags. Try to read Figo, Aspires full crash test report. 2. Interior fir finish and overall quality is easily worst in segment. Swift, i10 Nios, all have much better quality plastics, way better and consistent shut lines, and much more modern design as well. 3. Being cheap dosent always mean better. Like Indians love projector headlamps, its a good safety feature as well, no driver side arm rests. Boot space is lower than previous gen Figos. 4. The new Figos gearbox is no where near as good as the ones in Swifts, Gi10s and all. Its just an OK gearbox. Also lack of diesel Auto is a pathetic omission by Ford. I have even more to say.. but just think about these for a moment. See if a product is not selling in India, it has some reasons. Here its completely Fords fault.

Ppl who used to use ford never ever choose other than ford. In india ppl ho with majority, with public opinion, and no doubt maruti suzuki and hyundai r the largrer than any other brand and most ppl use those two brand, and when some one goes for a new car he has suggestion from his friends or relatives who r already a maruti or hyundai owner, so he simply suggest those cars. Yes innitially there is a problem regarding service cost but now its reasonable. Ford built quality is far better than suzuki car. Figo is 1100 kilograms where swift is ony around 850kilograms.

It's mostly an end for Figo/Aspire AT in India due to tax levied on a 1.5 Ltr engine .Saying this since I was one of the last to own from 2019 stock and now with the removal of few essentials from BS6 manual titanium trim to price competitively. It's clear it will not be offered in future. Definitely the AT was a very unique value offering below 10 lacs with convenient fun to drive element amongst boring cars in the segment. Infact not many knew that Ford was offering AT that too with new gearbox. Ofcourse Ford themselves to blame as they never advertised it for some reason.

When 4 adults sit in the car it struggles to pull. Ride quality is not good on bad roads Clutch is heavy and deep Rear seats are not comfortable for tall people. Car feels small when tall people sit on rear seat. Front seats are comfortable but cushion is a bit hard when compared to swift Turbo lag below 1500 rpm. Car does not pull below 1500 rpm ( that's common in all diesel cars) No bottle holders in rear doors No android auto and Apple carplay

I have been driving the Ford Figo 1.5 Tdci 2015 model, just after it launched. It's a gem of a car. Maintenance costs have been low, ample power across the rev range. But the new model is showing its age now, ford needs to refresh the car, get better interiors. Manufacturers need to learn for Kia, the success of the Seltos. Bring a refreshing new car, with great equipment, engine and just price is right.

I kind of regret not buying this car last year. I was 5 minutes away from buying this! This is the best budget drivers car in India. The steering feedback is excelllant. It is even better than the polo. The only downside is the infotainment system that doesn't have Android Auto or Apple carplay. And it's not exactly in the premium hatchback segment. Both petrol and diesel engines are really good!!

Miss leading title as 5.40 base model is not having 6 air bags, also not sure if 5.40 is for petrol base model. As a ford car owner I know the top end can get expensive.

In December 2019,I was trying to get the Ford Figo Blu and called each dealers in Delhi NCR but they said they don't have the BLU option bcz they are not getting from the manufacturer. Thus I brought the Figo titanium. What you sai sir???@AM?

One problem with Ford is still people think it's a costly one, in terms of sales & services... Yet to reach the common people (needs to advertise more), got serviced my ford, and really it's exceptional, far far better than those light weight ,higher sales Company service centres.

Recently Iam using 1st generation Figo since 2011 which has run around 130000 km ... car is fine but getting some issues regarding to maintenance cost n spare parts are also not easily available , I mean it’s time to changing car ... sir Iam planning to buy a new car around 8-10 lacks... I wanna used next car for 8-10 again ... should I go for Ford Figo again or Tata Altorz , Toyota Glanza or any other one ... car should low maintenance n better mileage n safety n riding qualifying . That’s all ... plz help 🙂
