I'm an ex prosecutor ( about 150 jury trials) and this is not confirmation that Cohen was lying. He could easily have talked about the 14 year old and that the Stormy Daniel's thing was wrapped up in less than 30 seconds.Also it was 8 years ago when his recollection may not have been totally accurate at the time of his first testimony about this. I am surprised that Ari and this former prosecutor are making conclusions on this before re-direct is given on Monday. Amateur hour is going on with Ari Melber today.

In state trials such as this, statistically there is about a 6% chance of a mistrial. That is a very small chance it will happen. On top of that, if there is a juror that is simply going against all the others to blatantly cause a mistrial they can substitute an alternate and start deliberations over again.

Wow, this guy is an absolute simpleton. Don't hire him as a lawyer. I'm sure defence lawyers make it a habit to grasp at straws, but logic is in short supply here. If someone says "call me." you can only talk about the last thing you texted? lol, he never talked to my mother then. If I texted her 'I need ideas for dinner tonight.' she'd say call me and then spend an hour planning next year's family vacation. Also, despite being certain that every word Michael Cohen utters in court is a lie, he just assumes the text message is true? So basically his argument is that if Cohen didn't send a text about the secret criminal plot to pay hush money and then cover it up, and then call the guy and talk to Trump, they couldn't possibly have talked about the payment plan? Ludicrous. I don't know, maybe he's angling to be Trump's next ex-lawyer. If so, I'd advise against it. It doesn't usually end well.
