Noor Al Hoda is a determined woman, refusing to let her husband's abandonment hinder her from fulfilling her dreams. A dream she held for her three daughters was to one day send them to university; however, she found herself unable to provide the basic necessities for them.
Noor's life was changed when she joined Future Eve’s Amal Project. Through its vocational, financial literacy training and funding she was able to open her own grocery store, enabling her to provide for her family needs while saving for her daughters' future. In 2012, Future Eve launched the Amal Project with the aim of empowering widows and female heads of households to set up their own micro-enterprises across Egypt.
