I know Christmas is a special time of year, but we have short rainy days and dark nights in Skandinavia now. I hope your family can visit you in the summer too. Our countries are much more inviting then.

Yes! They will be back in summer 😊

@asaadac The Danish weather has been pretty bad this year. We got 28% more rain than usual and December had only 50% of the usual hours of sunshine. Let's hope 2025 will be better.

It was an unusual menu for Christmas evening dinner. Most danes eat duck, and pork roast with red cabbage, sugar coated patatos and plenty of gravy etc. I love backed patato, salats and it looke very well made and there can be many reasons people dont prefer the traditional menu.

I’m a vegetarian, so I don’t usually eat traditional Christmas food, even when I lived in the US. But I do want to incorporate some of the traditional non-meat danish foods into future holiday dinners!

Great video! Happy to see you got some time with the family! that''s what christmas is all about! spending with the people you care for, and that cares for you! i imagine the plane prices are still quite expensive, as USA is so far away from Europe. I hope they had a good time too and i wish you all a Merry Christmas (a bit late ;) ) and a happy new year!

Sadly you weren't able to see the point where the train comes up from an island in the sea, to join the bridge to Sweden!
