This is it. This is the song that brought me into the post-rock world. I first heard it played on an independent, listener supported, internet radio site. I loved it from the first listen but waited more than 5 years before really taking the time to fully absorb the entirely of this album. Once I had, it was clear that I had joyfully, and with great enthusiasm, jumped into a rabbit hole unlike anything since Carroll's Alice took her leap.

Yep, but when you have that feeling for years....it's hard to keep motivating with just music. At least for me. God Is An Astronaut is my all time favourite band. I can't even articulate how much I love them. The perfect band to listen to when you chill, read, study, meditate, or do anything else. They have such a unique sound, I haven't found anything quite like them so far. I like most post-rock bands, but none of them gives you that feel like you're listening to the soundtrack of the universe, or something, like with GIAA. Can anyone here recommend a band that comes close to them in awesomeness?
