I sowed Crimson Cloverin my raised beds in the fall to rejuvenate the soil and to hopefully make them too crowded for the fall and winter tree seed drop. I am hoping to not have a tree nursery of Sycamore seedlings😂 in my raised beds.

Love this! So fun to have the Christmas tree in the background too. Let us know when you have that tomato sauce recipe with the carrots! 😋

Morning Lisa - Will do!! Currently I chop up carrots really fine and saute them for while before adding to the sauce. That really does the trick by adding sweetness but you have the texture.

Suggestion for the tomato sauce. Put a whole carrot into the sauce when you’re cooking, then when it’s done cooking take the whole carrot out. It adds sweetness without having actual bits of carrot in the sauce

Stevia is a slow grower, but don’t give up on it. By august it’ll start taking off.

I bought a variety of native shrubs in the late fall here, after an initial cold spell, it's been real warm here, relatively... Hopefully they all made it, separated a lot of asters late also. Planning on winter sowing some purple coneflowers and liatris soon.

Nice! I have a couple native shrubs too that I bought on clearance in the fall. I have high hopes they will all make it! Asters are becoming a favorite for me. I have a lot of aromatic aster that spreads like crazy. Sounds like a great plan! I am going to do a video on everything I sowed on November pretty soon. I have a couple more flats to go, the seeds that don't need any cold stratification time are the ones I saved for last.
