It brings me such joy to see young people gardening!!! I'd like to suggest checking with your local library to see if they have a seed swap. That way you can trade for different varieties & meet other gardeners to swap ideas. Also if you have extra seeds or produce, donate some to senior centers or food banks. If you plant lots of marigolds close to your squash or cabbage, there will be a lot less pests. Wishing you a bountiful harvest~

Great ideas! I work with some local organizations often and I know they have some small farm partnerships, but I never thought of reaching out for gardening tips, thank you! That's also a great idea with the marigolds, I do have some seeds and was planning on putting nasturtiums with the squash but marigolds are much longer lived in this climate, that's a good call. :)
