That was so helpful, thank you! I love seed hauls, but everyone is always so excited about their new seeds and you don't always get to see how they actually turn out. It was nice to contrast "this is what I was expecting/this is what I got."

I am so glad I found your channel. I live in Arkansas also. Just south of Hot Springs in Bismarck. This will be my first year having raised bed gardens and I’ve watched your videos and learned so much. I also just bought a Green Stalk vertical garden. Thank you for your videos.

This is such a great video idea! Definitely need to make this a yearly tradition ☺️ It's so helpful to hear how all of these seeds worked for you.

Really enjoyed this! Like someone else said, it's great to see what you hoped for and what you actually got. I hope you will continue to do this each year.

Loved hearing about how things turned out. Thanks for sharing. I hope to try a few of the crops that worked well for you. Short spring/early summer heat is a problem here in Alabama, too.

I recommend Gypsy peppers and Antohi Romanian Peppers. They have been the most productive sweet peppers for me in the DC area. They are smaller than a bell pepper but I prefer that because I don't always want to add a whole bell pepper to whatever I'm cooking.

Great video! So much more useful than the average seed haul video (although I love those too).

Great information! Love to hear how different varieties actually perform! I'd be interested in a full Okra video. Variety reviews, how to deal with skin sensitivity, ways to use and preserve! We LOVE Okra. I've only grown Clemson Spinless, which is wonderful, and Emerald. I did not like the emerald as well.

I to love Clemson Spineless. I can always count on them. I tried the red burgundy last year to. They are right up with Clemson. I'll only grow those 2 from now on.

For paste this year I’m trying out Fred Hempel’s Marzano Fire, fingers crossed for good results!

I noticed you mentioned San Marzano. Will you plant them this year? Where do you get your San Marzano seeds? So you find the need to rotate the location of your tomato crops each year or do you keep them in the same place?

Yes, I will plant them. They have earned a permanent spot. :) I've bought the seeds from various places; they're not hard to find, but I think I bought from Baker Creek last time. And yes, I do rotate my tomatoes with the exception of when I grow in straw bales. I don't see the need to rotate that because I'm getting fresh bales each year.

Great idea! It's so exciting growing new things but they don't always perform. I'm growing a few of these for the first time this year, it was nice having your review. Although I am in Canada (Zone 3) so it may be a little different for me. I am trying the nadapeno's this year, my kids don't like spicy so they will be great for them :)

You want delicious salad tomato or eaten whole or quaimolia Mexican dishes. Thornbury Terracotta is the only whole tomato I've ever eaten whole and had 3 it's not my nature to eat unless tomatoes are in dishes or salad but Thornbury Terracotta has falvor. They ripened to a dirty orange and many has green shoulder but mine doesn't always have green shoulders. My neighbor Lady from central America loves them for all her dishes she cooks daily.

Have you tried the Tam Jalapeno (I got my seeds from Baker Creek)? They're jalapeños that are milder than a typical Jalapeno, but not completely without heat like Nadapeños.
