🔴 SEED OF FATE!! Camellya 1.4 Story Quest | Reaction & Playthrough (Wuthering Waves)

2:45:16 literally had to pause for awhile after finishing the story because it was just that good. needed time to recollect my thoughts, sorry guys for suddenly detaching myself for abit LOL thank you kuro games for this story quest, found a lot of comfort in it. it was well executed, and told the story of camellya in such a heartbreaking yet beautiful multifaceted way "every scar marks the rebirth of me" -> i love this quote from the OST lyric. exactly what i needed to hear in my life right now... “are you happy now?” i answered this not from rover’s perspective but my own - because of certain circumstances, i’m not sure if i’m actually happy with my decisions, but Camellya’s words really did comfort me after she replied Rover that whatever happens, it’ll be ok. i recently watched a video made by a Grandma titled “LET THEM BE” which reminds me of this story quest too. Rover chose to wipe her memories and leave, and this caused mental pain to Camellya. Then she also made the decision to forget to keep her sanity since “sanity is a gift from her (Rover) ” - lesson learnt: if someone, be it a friend or partner removes themself from your life, let them be. just let them. don’t control it, because fate will determine if this person is meant to be in your life or not. the more you just LET THEM BE, the more you are at peace with yourself. - “sanity is a gift from her”: the happiness and mental peace you made with the ones that have left your life, cherish them and appreciate the good old times. even if someone (colleague/friend/partner) has distanced themself from you, it’s OK to cherish the happy memories. don’t let yourself spiral into depression. my favourite line “every scar marks the rebirth of me” - even if people left mental scars on your life/persons… it shapes who you are today, and it makes you beautifully unique. you learn from these experiences and let’s say “thank you” and move forward with this new version of you. scars are painful and we saw how haunting it is for Camellya - but all the alternate simulations of her is another “rebirth” of who she is. and she has always found her fate (Rover) in the end. Let them be, sanity is a gift from them, every scar marks the rebirth of me.

I understand how you feel. It was really well done. Both Shorekeeper and Camellya love Rover but they express it in different ways. Shorekeeper decided to wait for him for years and take care of the organisation he made. Camellya was so broken by his loss that she decided to self destruct. It's love shown in different ways and neither is wrong, and I am so happy Kuro can write it the love aspect in different ways. It shows a multifaceted understanding of the human psychology. I am just glad both these characters got happy endings and the Black Shores is our home ❤

I don’t usually comment (lurker vibes), but I wanted to take a moment to appreciate you and your community. ❤️ It’s comforting to be here, knowing you and your viewers share such thoughtful perspectives on Kuro’s stories and other games. I love how you tie game narratives back to real-life situations-it really adds depth. There’s been a lot of criticism about Shorekeeper and Camellya’s quests lately, calling them “dating sim,” but I honestly enjoyed them. I guess it’s just a matter of perspective. Maybe they didn’t hit as hard as Encore’s quest, but they still left an impression. Camellya’s lines, like “Are you happy now?”, “Sanity is a gift from her,” and “Every scar marks the birth of me,” are some really nice quotes

I think this is better than having the main character or companion as a side character and having the NPC as the main character of the quest.

I wish rover showed more emotions during certain times but the story was amazing with near perfect execution. Lady flora is a complex character and i am here for it

I know this Quest's meaning is to focus on the current Camellya, the present and not thinking about the past (Lady Flora), but there are some hints that Kuro dropped on about Camellya (Which made me feel a bit missing with the quest xd). Here are some of my finding and speculations: - The illusion of Lady Flora that we have seen was from 20 years ago, yet she still looked exactly the same to our Camellya today. => She hasn't aged at all, different from Changli in her Quest. This raise suspicions about whether she is human race or not. - She woke up at the village without memories => Her memories has been erased once, and we still don't know why, or how. Even the Lady Flora in other timeline (the seiso one) also has feeling that Rover is familiar, so perhaps their first meet is even earlier? - The fact that in every timeline, they can still meet each others is also unexplained. There can't be that much coincidences, and "fate" cannot randomly get generated nor explain everything. => There is a high chance that their far past are related to each other, maybe they had been very close to each other before Lady Flora's first memory loss. ==> In short, they hinted a lot about Camellya not being any normal person, and has a massive, complicated origin, yet they keep that hidden, for now. I hope that they wont forget this xd

Exactly this. The quest did an amazing job explaining current camellya and why she acts the she does, but the quest also introduced several holes in the plot and story. This could very well be intentional, as they plan to drop more Rover/Camellya lore later. Because of this I really hope they keep Camellya close in future stories since she is just as mysterious if not more mysterious than Rover themselves

Camellya is artifictial resonator, so maybe that why she doesnt age at all Other resonators aren't called like that, also Rover is like absolute being in the Wuwa, so she/he doesn't age at all and Rover have billion of years and we know it from the ShoreKeeper's quest ShoreKeeper and Rover are the oldest resonators, their age can be counted in millennia, milions or even billions so I can't wait for the moment when we will know everything. That might be years but I can wait for that

I really liked the effort they put into this character and her quest. And what you said in the comments really gave a much more broader view into her character, also one of the interesting things I found out about that reallu surprised me is OST in the ending scene "A million possibilities" is camellya's very own ENG va sang it

I just realised about the name of Camellya story "Forking paths among the stars" What the name meaning we driving into stellar metrix (star) and learn about what if...we can't save her and we save her early terrible happen (Forking paths) quite nice name of the story so far.
