What if you don’t need A series but a pre-seed fund is sufficient such as $1 million. I am involved in a business with a design for the transport industry but only need money to get the product tested and get government transport approvals.

I now know that it's bootstrapping that is my choice as the founder of this new product. For 10 years I've been testing and building prototypes. All on my own. Good Day *I have a question. Is a pre- Seed defined by its Purpose or Size ? *And if its Purpose how come Investors seem not to be willing to invest in a startup; Pre Launch & without traction on a pre-seed ticket. * which then lead me to think the term pre-seed should be termed seed-fund because naming it pre-seed seems divisive. *Is it because Investors are avoiding signing a bigger ticket size.
