Thank you Lisa! First year flower farmer here in Maine. I only planted about 1000 flowers this year but one thing I made sure I had was row cover, hoops, ect! I am now putting myself on the back for having most of the begining essentials because now I can focus more on flowers next year!

Great information! It's quite an adventure trying to find much of anything garden related in major stores after the end of August. It's all replaced with Christmas stuff!!! Pffftt - well, there is an organic nursery across town that's sure to have row cover. If not, I can always order. ;-)

OMG thank you so much for this video. I’m in the UK and have just recently planted a lot of my cool flowers in the garden and was wondering how I’d keep them sheltered/warm from the severe weather conditions we get in the North of England. I’ve got plenty of fleece (row cover) and never really used it as I was unsure exactly what to do with it, other than drape it over the plants in the greenhouse when it gets bitterly cold. I’m trying this year to get my plants in the ground over winter to see if I get better and stronger plants than last year as I left them until spring before planting out.

So glad you found the information helpful (and timely)! I am excited for you to be able to compare this year's overwintered plants to last year's spring-planted ones - we would love to hear about your results next spring 😊 Thanks so much for watching and for taking time to leave a comment! 🤗

Hi! I am a home gardener in Sweden zone 6b, and I simply can’t use row covers due to mobility issues and chronic illness. I know that you did talk a bit about how you can cover the seedlings if you can’t use a row cover, but would you mind talking a bit more about that please? Maybe you have come up with some more tips? And also- I would REALLY appreciate if you could talk about how to make the growing process (from seed to flowering plant) as easy as possible for a home grower- and most of all: with as little work as possible for us who lack energy but still want the flowering garden. Do you have any talks about perennials too? Otherwise I would love to hear that too😊🌸 Thank you 🌱🌸

We tend to get heavy snows here. It’s not uncommon to get a foot in a day serveral times throughout the winter. Till spring my garden can be under 3-4 foot of snow or more. How do you keep your rowcover from collapsing under the snow loads? Or maybe you don’t get much snow cover in your area.

Perfect clear instructions, thank you. What type/size of bag do you use for the 15lb row cover weights?

So do you put the row cover back in place as soon as the snow or ice melt or even before it melts?
