Sir, as you can probably tell from the literary style of the lyrics it is a very old song, probably two hundred years old. Back then the concept of plagiarism didn't exist in the same way it does now. Many Christian song writers used popular Hindu devotional songs' tunes at that time. You can see they were not trying to hide it.. they even used the "Namo Nama" ending of each line. Only after music and arts became huge money making businesses the ideas of copyright, royalties, etc came into existence. I am sure the composer of "Nadhavindhu" song would not have seen this the way you are seeing it now.
