This needs not only wayyyy more views but WAY more praise in these comments. Sandy, this was INCREDIBLE. You have a blessed knack for this. Triple threat: ORATING that exceeds far beyond any Elmer Gantry I've ever heard, TEACHING that exceeds a lot of Sunday pulpits (this is not redundant if one is familiar with true preaching vs Gantrying around about "living your best life now" with the slipperiest of doctrine and smiles {and hair}), AND the fact that it all stems from this PASSION you radiate in the purest sense. Correction: quadruple threat- you're the Golden State Warriors of your vocation, because not only do you execute all these threats to the max efficiency, you do them as a woman! Which....i've looked around, and sadly I haven't seen a whole lot of women on the bench with the Lloyd Jones's, Pipers, Wrights, and the squad. Good God, woman, they should make a Disney movie about you! Ha. Thank you. Thank you. From my family to yours, thank you! Seriously. Blessings.

Hey not that I'm going to make a big deal of it but recently mosaics from Huqoq have been on earth with depictions of Hebrews in Israel/Palestine and Galilee from 200BC to the time of Jesus depicting Jews and they are depicted as having lighter skin than their Greek neighbours. I was shocked, perhaps the white Jesus meme is real, I know it's just one set of mosaics but it's some food for thought.

Great work on finding Huqoq. But I'm sure you realize that those mosaics were created by first and second century Jews, yes? And like us, they are recreating their characters in their own image. So we've got Hellenistic influence on hair, clothing, and skin color.
