I am filled with inspiration as I'm going to make my first batch of banana wine this Spring 2022. I want to try this Ugandan banana wine, it will make a worldwide connection. Enoth said there's a distribution issue which is understandable...how can that be solved? EDIT: @21:43 Enoth could teach economics.

This is a great job, but try to use wooden vat. Fermenting and maturng in wooden vat, gives the wine some blended taste which makes it unique and special!!

i have a question for anyone from uganda who might be reading this. in puerto rico we have a variety of banana we also eat as dessert, we call them "guineo manzano" which would be translated as "apple banana". so i ask you about sukali ndizi. are those bananas short, fat, with a thin skin and very sweet and aromatic? that's my favourite variety. i even use them for baking banana bread and the taste is amazing. greetings from puerto rico.

If you are removing the peels, how does your wine get colour because you are not fermenting in a barrel?!! Do you only produce white wine in this case?!! Why is matooke cooked rather than smashed raw and left to ferment for few days?!!

the way you are crudely filling those bottles is a bad practice and your wine will get oxidized or suffer from wild yeast etc , you need things like sorbates and sulfites and better sanitary conditions but i guess this is africa
