Hey you! I just got some of these! Going to be rolling my own circuit with SAMD10C14 chips. Thanks for reviewing them!

Great demo very helpful thank you so much I was doing the same thing with the blink sketch and wound up turning it into a very tiny brick I'm ordering another one thank you so much for your content very helpful

Great demo, thx! Sends like a very slick little uC. Tiny but useable tiny. I got a batch of uDuino from crowdsupply which packed an absurd amount of pinoutage for the footprint but soldering it is a bit of a pain in the backside. 😅

Finally,, videos that I can understand and not just generic heavy metal music blaring and screwing up concentration.

Please tell me that you can do something useful with this, such as a motion triggered action.

Circuit Python works a treat on this lil board. I think that is a superior option to the Arduino IDE, no? You can change the blink speed as easy as loading up Thonny and making the change in the script. As soon as you save the code.py it becomes active on the XiAO. Serial port monitoring still not great on these ide's with Xiao but you can always use Putty as I do.

Apparently there isn't enough ram for circuitpython to be used properly

Can i use stm cube ide for coding seeduino in c language?

Thanks for the inspiration, but there’s more. Low power, 12 bit A to D and blue serial LED. Not yet found out if the Arduino IDE supports these extensions.

It does. But sometimes its not recognized and you need to disconnect and reconnect a few times. But basically works well.

Nice and tiny, im new to all of this, I have a uno and got some stuff working. But thats all on 5v, these tiny boards are all 3,3v at gpio pins. How do I get 5v sensors or motor working on 3,3v? All I kan find is utube videos where they connect a led that doesnt help me. How or what do people use to get from 3,3v to 5v output?. Anyone please.

Hey, just saw this! I would recommend using a transistor with a 5V source - such as a battery, or even the 5V pin on the board itself: wiki.seeedstudio.com/Seeeduino-XIAO

Solder the pins onto the Seeeduino. Oh, you eventually did. OK, good stuff.

These are neat but sometimes don't want to connect to the host computer.

I legit thought it was the Shell, when I was watching ladyada design the qt py, which indeed was designed intentionally to be the same form factor as this board (seeed had this shape first, but ladyada likes having a reset button, pads for optional spi flash, neopixel, etc). The $6 qtpy price is apparently promotional and temporary, btw

yes... the header pins are meant to be soldered into place :)

Maybe kinda weird but you remind me so much of Judy from cyberpunk 2077 (probably the coolest character)

Thanks for this video just found your channel. I'm currently going through the Elegoo Uno R3 tutorials on my channel and seeed's wiki looks decent so I might try having a go through that next. Just subbed!

Amazing only 2.2mA at 4.95v in sleep mode ! Awesome.

At one point you were connecting an LED with no current limiting resistor. This is not a good idea.
@HacksterIo2 жыл бұрын
True, in a finished project it's not a good idea because you can burn the LED out. For testing, I often take a shortcut and connect it directly, since the power level is pretty low and it won't be connected for long... but I should probably model better habits on the channel. :)
