Regarding a locker on the road in bad weather - I ran a Detroit Locker in the rear of My Scout 2 with 33" BFG MTs for many years, built IH 392 engine, and never had the rearend squirrel around like that. Of course, I didn't drive like a wild man either.

That's why you don't use a limited slip rear differential. Use a torsen diff. No clutches to burn out and it won't swap ends when turning left under power.

@Ucallit 71 As Stacey revealed a flaw with the spare tire carrier on crazy horse when the few hope the company that made the spare tire carrier saw the episode and redesigned the carrier taking the weak points into consideration and made it much stronger. With the topic on inner-coolers had the trucker wonder if they had their right foot buried in it and not looking at their gauges when the ECM is to see an overheating situation and put the engine into limp mode.

Electric wipers would have been an easy upgrade to fix that! They reused the original vaccum operated wipers it appears.

Not sure which I like better, Wicked Willys or Crazy horse. I am a 78/79 Bronco junkie but love claaic Broncos and Willys I had a 52 Wagon 304 th400.
