She is amazing, right? Once I went to her concert I understand why its always a bloodbath to get the tickets, people always wanted to come again and again. Vocals, visuals, music, production, all top notch and unique, the entire things feels like mixing a musical with a concert. Lavish, elegant, artistic, and wow, just wow. And true, attending her concert is a completely different level of experience than watching her live clips. Felt so surreal witnessing her producing that voice and hitting notes after notes.

Seeing IU live is also easily the best concert experience I've ever had. I cried through like the first eight songs, and then at different parts throughout the rest of the show lol. The concert itself is so well-produced, having the lyrics on-screen is such a great, thoughtful choice for better accessibility, HER VOICEEE IS IMMACULATE, the sheer quality of her music from every era is so high, and the live band(!!!) really made all the difference. Like, the newer arrangements to so many of these songs (Holssi rock ver., IU doing the rap in Palette, etc.) were just perfect.

The best way to express the feeling when seeing IU is that it doesn't feel like a concert. At a concert, you know you're surrounded by people and it's distractions and you feel that until the first notes of the opening song starts and then you're transported and you're entranced by IU completely. Her humor, her charm, and her humility are on full display and she has a way of connecting to thousands of people in attendance in a way that feels genuine and personal. By the end of the concert the attendees went out of their way to return the appreciation that they felt IU was giving them. When she leaves the stage after the final encore, you could see other people just absorbing the atmosphere and the moment. Soooooooo much confetti though.
