@muhammednuhman59308 жыл бұрын
Luca Hulot Thanks for replying. "I see no God, and what is involved in the things I see is mere physics/chemistry. there's no God or beauty or magic involved in any of the things I see." -- You are right when you say chemistry and physics are involved but the same logic can be extended to prove that a creator designed it in this way. Just for example take the weight of an electron. The weight is so precise that it can't afford to have even a slight variation so as to exist. Or what about the distance between the sun and earth or the amazing factory inside a plant cell. As a logical person and student of probability my inner self says , "Hey man the design is so great that for sure there must be a designer". The probability of you finding an iPhone that was formed somehow when the nuts and bolts and software came together on its own is much higher compared to the origin of life on earth. "well, I could say the exact same thing with you. and I know you won't change your point of view anyway. perhaps you should ask God to stop closing my heart to him, as mentioned in the Qur'an many time, otherwise it would be the fault of God if I go to hell." --I still believe that you are a logical and sensible person as you resorted to have a neat discussion rather than posting abusive comments like many do here. And yes you are right. Allah does say that it is he who guides people : * "Then Allah sends whom He will astray, and guides whom He will" * 14:4 But is this understood well ? This should be understood in a way that befits it. First of all Allah has given humans free will. Allah says: * "Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. * Allah also says : * " As for those who strive in Our (cause) , We will surely guide them to Our paths. for verily Allah is with those who do good " * God is clearly telling us that we need to struggle hard in order to find the path to God. Allah will only guide those who actually struggle to be guided. If God has already predetermined who would go to hell and heaven without giving us free will then it would be useless for Allah to tell us to strive to be good. So God guides those who strive and put an effort to want to be guided. Continue your quest for truth.Appreciate it brother. May Allah guide you to the right path.

Muhammad wasn’t the first muslim tho, he was the final messenger of Allah (According to Islamic Faith) but the first muslim was the first man, and a muslim before the Prophet Muhammads message, was a person that believed in one God and followed his commands relative to what the command was at that time. Eg during the Prophet Esas time and Musas times etc. But Since Muhammad is the final messenger us muslims believe that we follow his teachings as it is the final message to whole of humanity *Muslim= one who submits to the will of God. Hence, today a Muslim isn’t just some one that believes in the oneness of God but also believes that Muhammad in his messenger. Jenni Raisovna we read all aspects of his life. Most of Muslims know his way of life. But not necessarily have the discipline to implement it. Because it is difficult. That is why we have Jihad. Self struggle.
@jenniraisovna56985 жыл бұрын
@@Just_logic I understand your point and agree, though my point was that Islamic literature idolizes Muhammad whereas LH's book provides more of an objective angle. Her approach in making Muhammad's character relatable to our lives makes it unique because it removes these boundaries of him being a perfect man, which he wasn't clearly. When you have a prophet who had experienced human problems makes it accessible for general public. Therefore you won't struggle much in implementing once you understand who he was as a human outside of being a "prophet" (which he also wasn't, but that's another topic). Peace
@Just_logic5 жыл бұрын
Jenni Raisovna tell why he wasn’t a perfect man? And that he wasn’t a prophet? To answer these two questions, you must bring deep analysis and knowledge to the table. That means not opinion. You are having a claim. Back your claim up. A perfect man does not mean he didn’t make mistake.

I know many well-intentioned non-Muslims who've begun reading the Koran, but given up, disconcerted by its otherness. The historian Thomas Carlyle considered Muhammad one of the world's greatest heroes, yet even he called the Koran, "As toilsome reading as I ever undertook, a wearisome, confused jumble". Part of the problem, I think, is that we imagine the Koran can be read as we usually read a book - as though we can curl up with it on a rainy afternoon with a bowl of popcorn within reach, as though God - and the Koran is entirely in the voice of God speaking to Muhammad - were just another author on the best-seller list. Yet the fact that so few people do actually read the Koran is precisely why it's so easy to quote - that is, to misquote. Phrases and snippets taken out of context in what I call the highlighter version, which is the one favoured by both Muslim fundamentalists and anti-Muslim Islamophobes. So this past spring, as I was gearing up to begin writing a biography of Muhammad, I realised I needed to read the Koran properly - as properly as I could, that is.

She doesn't "love" Muhammad.She admires him,like other theological writers and biographers like Martin Lings and W.Montgomerry Watt,as a political leader.But they have all criticized too.

This is one of the best things I have ever watched on youtube. I don't think I met someone who is more humble and intellectual than Lesley. Approach of the words reveals that her tongue corresponds with her heart. See the way she stands with austerity and demonstrates something highly disliked in her society. This consequently opens millions of eyes and changes perceptions about something you used to knew in a one particular dimension. World deserves to know more about Muhammad p.b.u.h as he is meant for humanity.

Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them". there is No peace in Islam only the teaching of hate & violence. Look at the history of Islam.
